hey, it's my 17th post! haha that's fast right, just started this blog in march.
anyway, was just looking back at all my old photos (2006/ 2007), and how i miss those days! life was better than now, i think. ok shall stop being emo.
today was a super sian day. felt tired (been sleeping quite late for the past few nights) and i'm the type who needs a lot of sleep, so if i sleep at 12 plus, 1 for a few nights, i will feel very tired. somehow these few days i really felt tired; i feel tired all the time but now feeling even more tired than normal.

my skin was very good, clear, healthy and had healthy pink lips last time in my photos. now i look so ciao cui. why? lack of sleep is it is it?! hais. feel sighful. dunno why. haha. anyway, i better start on my physics pt REAL soon. haha. erm. well. this post is not written with much thought. some of my posts aren't. now i'm just blabbering random stuff. grr. brain not functioning.

LLALLALALALALA! llama! zz. ok, for some serious (more serious) stuff now. school report: received my mortals letter this morning! :D was super happy la, cos she didn't reply for quite a long time already, since the letter i sent quite long ago. but i sent one just last wk and she replied today! yay. she gave me two toblerone chocolates, the small individually wrapped kind (what were u thinking?!). yepyep she seems to like toblerone quite a lot haha, cos last time she gave me a tube of it. so nice of her right! (:

then we had normal boring lessons. zzz. sian. i was super bored especially during the first few lessons before recess. met cy and we were complaining about how we feel like shouting out expletives; you know the kind when u really really need to let out stress. AHHHHH! feel like screaming damn loudlee! haha. but even if i shout a little bit sher meen will shush me. so oh well. a bit embarrassing to shout out too, i can't even do it at home cos might disturb the neighbours and it'll be embarrassing if i see them and the recognise it was me who did that.
recess was ok, at least got a break from those boring lessons. we chatted animatedly about.. MS JENNIFER TAY! hahaha. in case u dun know, she was our (108's) form teacher last year. she also taught us history. she's quite nice and a good teacher except a bit strict also sometimes. anyway. we weren't talking about THAT. we were talking about..
how she's changed so much! haha some pre-requisite knowledge that u might need (about ms tay last year)..
she is 27 this year but does she look her age? hmm let's guess.. when she told us her real age last year everyone was suprised! :D haha it's quite funny actually. so, what do you think?
she has short rebonded hair that's pencil-straight and dyed a medium shade of brown.
she wears spectacles.
she's a prefect mistress.
she loves/ is always spotted wearing the following:
tight, quite short shirts (3/4 sleeves)
pants, no skirts.
shoes, the one-coloured type that covers the whole of your foot and is relatively flat.
she is strict and not exactly very.. ladylike? but she's still nice (:

so, we were talking about how much she has changed in terms of outer appearance (i dunno about inner appearance?) this year. actually everybody notices it.
this year, she wears skirts more often, trying to look more girly!
also, she was spotted wearing heels today! she also permed her hair to a wavy style (supposed to be more feminine, i guess?)

la, yeah, she's changed! i wonder why.. *shows secretive smile*
ok, i found it very funny and we kept laughing, hahaha..
anyway after recess the lessons were slightly better. ivana and joey and aarthi are damn funny. during english, aarthi was like SUPER funny omg.

we also got back our english marks. all i can say is, not very gd? ehh slightly below average la. -.-

not exactly that fun too. had to move the stupid heavy kulintang omg can super heavy and hard to lug! from old pe dept to ks chee u noe!

yep. but yay!! :D tomorrow got asthetics again cos timetable is swapped with friday's timetable cos friday is sports fest! i'm helping out as a helper, anyone knows what to do/ what time to arrive/ any other important details? sry i'm a bit blur.

but ugh too, cos tomorrow is cca again, until 5.30, wed got tuition (gd cos its useful but time consuming), thur got cca again (and have to pass up physics pt!) and fri got tuition, sports fest is okayy la.

ajcj funfair, and other random stuff

IMEEM sucks. okay, maybe it is not fair to say that it sucks, but i tried to put in on my blog and the songs kept lagging, like it plays for a few seconds that pauses, then after a few seconds it plays again. i am like damn pissed lor, listen like that oso not shiok. ughh i'm getting more and more singlish. dunno why other ppl's blogs all play so smoothly one?!?!?! why ah? why ah? zz. and iwebmusic can't upload my files coz they are supposedly too big. maybe i should just not put music here on my blog. i'm going to remove the music section cos imeem is so sucky.

anyway, things i might consider i want to buy:

-foundation (the cake type i guess; i need this cos of the freaking pimples that are starting to ruin my almost-perfect complextion! GAH!)
-hair dye (ahhhh! i sososososo want to dye my hair. dun like it being horribly black. unless it is jet black and very silky. but stupid school doesn't allow -.-)
-lip gloss; i enjoy buying new ones to try(:
-eyeshadow in different shades and tones, i like M.A.C cos the colour is obvious, not like some cheap brands like the 27 colour palette one i have and use for angklung performances.
-eyeliner (cheapo one i bought dosen't even surface)
-eyelash curler (i have one, but feel like buying new one haha(:)
-fake eyelashes, maybe? might not put though.

CONCLUSION: if u want to buy make-up, buy the good quality branded stuff cos they are long-lasting and look better, not like the unvisible cheap kind that looks so ugly and makes you feel hopeless on make-up, and those that might cause allergies or whatever.

I HOPE I DON'T SOUND TOO BIMBO, and i'm only saying i'm considering for fun, might not really buy all of them ok so dun make assumptions. (:

okay i shall post about today now. went to the acjc funfair! woke up at a suprising time of 7.00 +, as i didn't expect i would automatically get up so early, having slept at 1 plus in a tired, zombie-like state yesterday. bathed and ate breakfast and did other small random stuff. got ready very punctually, (i congratulate myself for that) as i started getting ready 45 minutes before the supposed time tt i would be picked up, just because i was too bored and had nothing better to do.
anyway, they arrived a little late, but it didn't matter as i was busy entertaining myself with things like tv or reading something, or computer?, i forgot already, pardon my bad memory. anyway, they came around 10.50 +.

yeah. and the funny thing that happened; aerin only remembered that she left my tickets at home when she saw me, so we had to drive ALL THE WAY BACK to her house (which took a great 30 minutes) to get the tickets. haha. oh well. brought along my cam (just charged this morning!) and we camwhored a bit in the car. the pics will be up soon in another post. we ate her peanut m&ms and chatted and camwhored more, but the pics were mostly very unglam (me especially). oh, oh! now i remember what i was doing from 10.30 - 10.50, i was looking at my pics on my cam! oh and i realised that i looked quite nice in some of the pics last time, but at that time i thought i didn't look that great but i guess those pics were still the prettier ones of the lot, but recently i have been looking uglier and uglier on my cam. i'm super unphotogenic. worser complextion, looks more haggard, paler lips, uglier eyes.. and the list goes on. is it because i am sleeping later and later? i mean, i didn't sleep at 1 am on school days last year, even if i slept at 11 +, latest being 12 (i'm talking about the average, like on most days). anyway, i hope i will become prettier and slimmer and taller soon. PLSPLSPLSPLSPLS!! :D

ok, i just noticed i have been digressing; i always do that. back to the scenario inside the car. well, we reached her home eventually and she got the tickets for me and showed me her neoprints, as i was showing her mine in the car just now. paid for $20 worth of tickets. then off we went to the funfair; eating kinder brueno on the way (i lovelovelove kinder brueno(:)
then we finally arrived and her mum, who is also my aunty, dropped us there and off we went excitedly all prepared for the hustle and bustle of ACJC's FUN-O-RAMA! :D wheeee.
went around playing games and buying stuff to eat, mostly in the nice air-con place. uh shall list some.. we played pop the balloon, throw the dart at some stars and aluminium shapes and aliens in space, and some other games that i can't be bothered to list/ can't remember. we ate spaghetti (shared), meatballs and french fries (the latter being soggy, half-cooked and definitely not something we would buy again), drank rasberry and strawberry jelly drink, and later on had milo dinosaur and some random stuff. i liked my strawberry jelly drink because i was so thirsty and it tasted nice! yeah, then played more games and used up my $20 worth of tickets very fast, so i bought another $20. in total.. spent $40 on tickets.. my cousin has this guy fren who is super rich and spent $1400 on tickets, gave $100 to his sports teacher as a form of gratitude for accepting him through DSA? and also easily spent $40 on an umbrella which he very generously gave to my cousin. haha super rich ppl. $1400 leh! just on tickets.

then after that wen yuan, aerin's fren whom i also knew since my lower primary days, came and joined us. she got a lime jelly drink and we didn't do much, mostly queued for the haunted hotel. guess how long we queued for?!

.. 2 and a half hours! can u beat that? and one ticket to enter costs $10! expensive hor?
got super bored. the queue took a long time to move. so we sat down (at first, the initial part) and ate candy and stuff and then got up and moved. slower than a snail. and the queue wasn't even VERY long, it just moved extremely slowly. and then finally, we kind of got to the entrance and were very excited and thought we could go in very soon, but still had to wait for quite long before could go in. we squeezed! and agreed we'd scream back at the 'ghosts' inside the haunted hotel. as we got to the entrance, we held each others hands very tightly.. heard ppl had screamed and some other info on the haunted house. finally it was our turn. it isn't very scary in real life actually, but i dunno if it was subconcious or something, i was a bit scared, or at least made myself think it was scary, because the ppl had screamed earlier on. but it sure beat etp's haunted house, that one is so super NOT scary, nothing jumps out at you or anything, i was like sian after going out of that one. oh ya this one could have been less scary if i thought it was just normal ppl dressing up as ghosts and stuff, but i thought it was a little scary. we screamed and screamed for the sake of screaming and also wanting to scare those ppl and irritate them with our high-pitched screams. what was scary was that u dun noe when (okay maybe u do, a little) the people will jump out at you, and even worse, grab your leg and probably, cause you to fall. they didn't do that to anyone i think, but imagine the thought! i dun wan to risk it. so i was like screaming and trying to hide behind ppl, and wen yuan and aerin also screamed and two guys at the back were like stop screaming, quicky move, so gay and blah and blah. i was very scared to go in front but i was kind of made to, because i didn't want those things coming out of holes and grabbing me. oh and we had to climb under this place, like a tunnel, super scary cos i thought there were creepy crawlies INSIDE the tunnel. apparently there weren't, and i took a long time to go in, aerin was behind me cos she was scared and wanted me to go first. and also there was a lot of pushing and squashing cos we were all trying to hide behind each other. there was this part where this girl got out of a box and kept walking towards us and we screamed and screamed then aerin pushed me and i fell forward, knocking the girl at the same time. then our tour guide was like dun do that! and everyone was laughing. then the girl said: why did u push me? why did u push me? for the scary factor and kept walking to us. i was kind of freaked out! we quickly walked away and there was other stuff that kept coming to us and kept pestering us (i found that part irritating!) and then we also screamed back at this girl and aerin asked this waiter questions, cos he was the guy who said would you like to go to the haunted hotel, at the entrance when we first started queing tt time. then finally we went out screaming a bit. that concluded our 2 and a half hour wait and $10 fee.

after that we went around walking about, had some food and drank soya milk with super sweet grass jelly and went to kerri's stall and talked to her there. there had air-con and free food haha. then we walked around the games booths and played a tiny bit of games. then soon after it was already 6 something (we wasted a lot of time queueing) so had to go home. my parents fetched aerin also back to our house, where her dad then picked her up from. they were a bit angry cos we didn't call them to tell them what time we would finish. hey, my phone was out of battery :P

yeah, then didn't do much after that. my sis's new computer arrived. so good. oh and we ate dinner, today's food was quite nice; had cabbage with prawns (nice at first but my maid cooks the cabbage until it is still kind of raw, eww), char siew that was quite nice, cod, curry and soup. yup. watched a bit of tv then came here to blog. ok that's all need to slp already la! ahh, sleeping is such a luxury!!! ((:

HAIS! letting out a sigh of frustration.

anyway, today had asthetics right..
i thought we'd be starting a new module, cos it's term 2 right? like doing art or music and dance or something. totally forgot we were still having cooking!
so of course i didn't bring my apron, cloth, containersss blahh..
and then, what happened?!
KENA SCOLDING.
told ms c (names shall not be revealed although some of u might know who i'm talking about) that i forgot that today had asthetics, and that i thought today was a new module; i was telling the truth, i swear i really did.
she said: that is a very lame excuse. you all don't go and tell me all your excuses. that is not a valid excuse.
and then, of course i indignantly argued back, because what i was saying was the truth, and i was very bu fu qi that she said what i was saying was a lame excuse, when it is NOT, even if it appears so.
yours truly remarked: no, but i really forgot, i thought today was a new module.. -.- (i dun care if it sounds stupid but it is the truth lor.. so irritated when ppl doubt me.)
ms c: that is a very lame excuse, i told u guys last wk that we will be cooking curry the previous lesson.. unless u weren't here? u still dare to argue back? (she obviously thought i was lying and was trying to prove my invalid - and made-up point.)

i really hate it when ppl accuse me and when they think that i am lying. i hate it! can't stand it!
i knew arguing with her was no point, as she is as blind as a bat and will never see her problem, or in this case, the fact that my account of the story might have some truth in it. so just keep quiet lor. teachers will never admit their mistakes.
teachers always LOVE to assume, they think what they think are always right, and will thus blame and scold the student without thinking whether the student could be telling the truth. teachers never ever even BOTHER to try to understand, or even listen to what the students have to say, they just force their way through insisting they are right, probably because they are scared that they might end up realising they were wrong. (not only in this particular case, but in all cases.)
i'm happy when i see these kind of teachers appearing as hapless weaklings, in front of their bosses when they are but lowly little subordinates. these teachers somehow tend to be the ones who love to torture their students, or are unreasonable and arrogant. they are suck-ups to their superiors, and look extremely pathetic and humiliated, until the extent that i feel sorry for them. actually i don't, i just find them pathetic.
pls note: i'm not being mean or anything, and i'm not saying this applies to all teachers. i'm just saying that some particular teachers are like that, in which this case ms c is not really like that, but she was quite unreasonable just now. do u notice that the teachers who are nice and actually respect the students don't tend to look as pathetic when beside their superiors?

oh ya getting out of that topic, we cooked curry chicken and roti jala today. actually huey fang did most of the curry chicken. ok, so she practically did the whole curry chicken. i did the roti jala! the roti jala is really easy to do, first, u seive 100g of flour with a pinch of salt into a bowl, then crack an egg inside and stir it with a balloon beater. next, u prepare some yellow colouring water and pour it in bit by bit as you continue stirring. then when it becomes a yellow liquidy mixture, you take the 5 hole cup thing (dunno what it's called) and pour it randomly into the frying pan and make it have a lot of holes (not the completely filled pancake style), but make sure you brush some oil briefly onto the pan first! put it on the fire, and wait for it to curl up and dry up (when it is a solid instead of liquidy). the pan is non-stick, so it makes it all the easier to remove from the surface of the pan! next, fold it into half, and then another half. tada! done! just shove it onto a clean, white plate and start on the other one. i made 10 roti jalas just now, huey fang made one. hehehe. i made 2 very crispy ones, but by the time i took it home it became soggy already, i wonder how huey fang's is? well, the other groups' ones looked quite professional (namely aarthi's?) while mine looked kind of a pancake. but it was still quite professionally done, and huey fang even told me i can be a professional roti jala frier, and gen said my one looks very nice! :D i don't mind being one, but i might get bored after a few days, knowing how my attention span is like. it was so cute and fluffy and soft and fun to make! hahaha. but had a bit of a time constraint, but i could still do it relatively fast la. (:

what bothered me was the stupid indian woman who works at the kitchen, (not mentioning any names again!) i had to pay 50 cents to borrow an old RGS frilly white granny apron, that was ok cos a few others borrowed and i didn't get arrowed at. zz. then when i needed to buy containers ( i told u i didn't bring my whole asthetics stuff already, cos i didn't even know there would be cooking today), she said 1 container costs 50 cents, even want to raise the price to 60 cents, and i needed to buy two. so i took out my dollar coin ready to pay her but just casually remarked: downstairs sell cheaper. like 30 cents only. then she burst out complaining in a very irritated scoldy -naggy tone: here is here, downstairs is different. dun complain to me okay. the teacher has to drive all the way to buy, still got the petrol fee, the blah and the blah and the shit. u want or not? ah? ah? you dun say.. and a whole lot of stuff. she scolds the kind where u just okokok just shut up and i'll admit that i'm wrong, even though i don't think i'm wrong. just stop nagging. so i handed her the one buck and said a few okays. and she finally shut up. she scolded me another time today too, because i was told to take out the large pot for the curry, so i obviously went to take the largest pot, and even scrubbed it very clean, then she saw and scolded me why i take that pot, that is the wrong pot, and went on and on, on her nags which are not but gentle nags. even go complain to ms c some more. then she was like, aiya these students arh..
i was damn pissed and said retarded ass! almost loud enough for them to hear. hope they didn't hear though. i just kena scolded that time for the apron excuse, already paid 50 cents, then barely 5 minutes later got scolding again. some more this time was entirely not my fault. ppl ask me to take the big pot, so i take the big pot, still scold me cos i didn't take the smaller pot (which we didn't use in the end)! grr. retarded asses man. i couldn't swallow this down la, muahahaha flaming them here! no names are used, so can't say i'm disrespectful or anything, i could very well be making this up from my imagination! :D hehehe.

gtg get ready for tuition later so thats about it.

I WANT A NINTENDO DS LITE! haha.
when i get too bored and nothing to do, i will start finding new things to want, like a goal to work towards to. for example, last year, it was a sony VAIO and a pink psp. i still don't mind having a vaio, but sort of given up on the thought of a psp. i thought it looked pretty cool, that's why i wanted it, but after having a go on my sister's one, i figured the games weren't very fun to play and they might even get stuck??? as in, hang. like how a computer hangs. on the other hand, i've heard the nintendo DS lite's games are much more fun, and it is even cheaper! a wii would be perfect too; heard it's super fun! anyway, my bdae is in about 2 months time, anyone care to get me one? haha only $200+, maybe close to $300 but who cares? just find a few ppl to chip in their $$ and whaha! settled. okay, maybe not possible.

don't take me too seriously!! i don't want it that much la, just finding something to want -.- i'm so bored.. oh, i wanted to make a bdae wishlist but it's kind of early to write about it now. hmm, when my bdae gets closer.

i'm feeling in a very bad mood now, yes, i know again. very very tired.......!!!! can see i'm going a bit crazy. bi1 feng1 le! sighhhhhzzzz.

anyway, i slept at 10.40 last night. big improvement right? quickly encourage me! :D cos i sleep at like 12+ to 1 on school nights. trying to improve my sleeping habits and catch more sleep! i had a good sleep last night (at least that's what i felt this morning when i just awoke), but now i'm feeling ultra super duper tired. ppl say its a cycle that's accumalated over a period of time, so one early night won't change my whole sleeping pattern. ughh feeling pissy now. anyway, i'll try to sleep earlier, and that'll let me have less pimples, more energy, and (i hope) grow taller!

i'm becoming quite addicted to blogging. like, when going through the normal hours of my life, i'll think, hey, i'll blog about this! anyway, this morning:
i was getting ready for school as per normal, and anyhow tied a french braid. i wanted to tie my hair low, so decided to do some sort of braid. so my french braid started in the middle of my head, maybe the end of the first third of my head, and it was quite loose. i secured the sides with two clips and as it was 7.05, i decided i should really start setting out for school.
on my way to school i saw two poodles, they were very big, and it came as sort of a suprise to me, as i had always thought that poodles were relatively SMALL.
kept helding my hair/ head at both sides, cos it felt very loose, like might become very messy easily.. heheheh, suprisingly it lasted for the whole day without becoming too messy! noticed that when i do that, i feel a cool feeling at my ears, its quite a little special, out-of-the-world feeling; i dunno, maybe not that special but i felt that. could be early morning's influence, perhaps?
i thought that i'd be a bit later than usual for school today, but i was actually slightly earlier! one of the first to reach the parade square; of course, the others were all in class, having arrived even earlier.

so, we changed our seating arrangements today. i'm sitting in front now, and next to stacy again. sitting with stacy and siling, and behind me are dharini, ivana and shyama! yay i think my group is quite nice(:
sitting in the front row has its advantages too, like you can pay more attention easier (since the whiteboard and screen and teacher are talking/ glaring at your face).

had ICT today, and we worked on our podcast. listened to a podcast from mr brown show.com. it was really funny and hilarious!! :D everyone had their tummies tickled and kept laughing!

haha we went through a personal exposition piece today, named study habit blues. i have it on my thumbdrive now. i like essay writing, so fun! hahaha.

oh ya, i remember now, mrs chan showed us a video taken of us during the kukup trip just now during geog, and so many ppl were sleeping! (the front ppl were sleeping, the ppl at the back weren't sleeping as much). in any case, it was hilarious!
i wanted to store it in my thumbdrive and put it up here..
however, i didn't know where to find it so don't have it now!
anyone noes where to find tell me pls!

ate nasi lemak for lunch, rice with egg and tofu and a samosa. recently, i tend to not finish my food. like i buy a few things, then i eat a bit of each halfway, then i don't feel like eating it already.
like yesterday, (or maybe yesteryesterday), i bought from the fruit stall a watermelon and a honeydew and an agar agar, and i took a bite of the watermelon and ended up throwing it away! i won't take the blame entirely though, the watermelon that day tasted horrid! i ate the agar agar and was so incredibly full, that i ended up throwing a quarter of it away. even when i started eating i was FORCING myself to eat, who ask me buy so much -.-
what happened to the honeydew, then? i ate most of it, actually almost all of it, except the hard bits at the end. totally not edible. ok, maybe edible, but only for wild animals?
and yesterday, i bought 2 paos, vegetable pao (the popiah stewed veggie thing inside a pao) that i dun really like, and a steamed corn pao that i couldn't even finish cos i was so sick of it. after eating i still foolishly bought a fried fish and chicken from the malay stall. wasted $2. the fish was cold, but at least they used real fish meat, the chicken was warm and quite nice, but very oily! i couldn't finish it, due to time constraint, so i kept it and ate after school. sher meen asked me just now: amanda, how much do u spend on one recess arh? my reply was, $2.50. and i eat 3 meals in school on most days, if not 3 then at least 2, so imagine how much i spend on food and all. i had a great idea today, and that is: DON'T WASTE MONEY AND MAKE MYSELF FAT BY BUYING SO MUCH FOOD, i will go back to what i did in p6 - just eat 1 meal eg. a bowl of noodles and don't eat so much snacks. then i'll be slimmer and richer :D
gd idea right?

air-con is dangy. i really enjoy the cold stillness of the air-con; the rush of adrenaline that hits you. it makes you high and wakes you up during exams. sometimes you can even pretend you are in a winter country! ^-^ butbut, my seat gets really coldd! even when i wear my jacket! and it's drying for my skin, not mentioning that i also get runny nose sometimes under air-con!

i feel i am chio-er than usual today, i dunno, is it my hairstyle? ok i'm sounding silly and lian like this. but i really feel that. very unglam usually lahhh. -.- ahh! i know! is it because.. i slept earlier last night? haha. sry if u find me crappy. this is totally random, but i like the feeling of winter, like winter love or something like that, like a very poetic and arty photo of a girl smiling blissfully with her thick fur lined coat and brown hair under the sun's warm light! so nice righttt!

oh yesss, speaking of photos, i have to submit 2 good photos by tomorrow! something for ORA! haha, but dun tell u first what we're going to do! must add in a poetic phrase or something, and i don't know where i'm going to find it from! as you know, i'm not very good with being poetic!

okay, i'm trying to sleep earlier, so need to bathe and sleep soon.

hais, i dun think i did very well. wrote 3/4 page long answer for the 1st qn, and 1 pg for the 2nd. andand, i forgot to paragraph!!
feeling very -.- now. i've been having the runny nose since mid-day in school just now - (actually once the air-con was on) sry hui qun i wanted to on it and now i end up suffering myself - and feel very tired. like very siannnnnnnn, bleah.

PE sucks. i dun like it. we had NAPFA training today. it was terrible. i am like the most unfit among everyone. can't skip, can't do push-ups the correct way, can't do pull-ups, can't stretch, can't run, can't do sit-ups, just can't do anything lor. and the running today sucks. 3 whole rounds around the track okay. it is like 440m each round. damn tiring la.
(for those of you who are athletes and are very fit or whatever, dun nid to boast! i noe i'm unfit la.)

i would not describe myself as someone very keen on blogging NOW. i should be studying for that lit exam tomorrow actually. ohh whatever/ i'll just blog a bit about school today. went for the project management workshop today. quite fun. then we watched the booring video on maori stuff. i was literally falling asleep ok. yawning, sleeping. yeah. that kind of stuff. the teachers kept adjusting the lights. like quite irritating. after the long video finally ended we were dismissed. went PS with sher, cy and ke. ate at the food court then walk walk a bit. yup. then go home. very sian lor no mood to blog. haha this is unconventional compared to my usual LONG posts right. hahah yeah. easier for u to read too.

I love the feeling of hydration.

Anyways, went for the HDB hub tour today. It was ok la, but last wk's learning journeys were FUNNER! actually, i went to school twice today.. the first time i went at 12.55, it was drizzling so brought an umbrella, then walked back and then went again at 1.30+? the first time was to collect memory card with the founders day photos that i took and select the gd photos. second was for the tour. yeahh. huiqun said i was early today. hahaha. oh and i'm going to write shorter posts from now on. cos long posts are really tedious to read haha dun u think? ok i'll try to post more pics though :D not mentioning i'm super unphotogenic other than rare occasions when i look ok. DUN BE longwinded luHHs.

ok. so off we went. sat with sher in the bus. she brought an apple, banana, and crunchy energy bar (ABC). -.- whatever i noe its lame. So we went to the hdb hub place at toa payoh. it wasn't that interesting, especially the front part. just looked at some information about hdb. had a worksheet as usual, RGS never does something without needing to fill in a ws or being assessed. then we were showed the old style furniture and stuff. oh-so-vintage! i think some of the kind of wooden chairs or stuff my parents had when they were young.. then we went into this psuedo lift. it was so lame. like seriously. it was supposed to bring us up 50 storeys (that was what the tour guide said) and we believed it. in the end. went in, saw some LCD screen flash the numbers that were supposed to the the different levels the lift was going up. the previous group screamed so i thought something would happen but in the end i didn't feel a single thing. guess what? in the end the lift was just a container that u entered. stood there stupidly as if you were going up 50 storeys. actually you weren't even moving. exited at the back door, which was EXACTLY THE SAME PLACE THAT WE HAD STARTED AT! the place with all the info and stuff. OMG I REALLY THOUGHT WE WERE GOING UP LOR. CHEAT MY FEELINGS! i was like -.- after that. lame luh. there were even aerial view photos on the ground, like supposed to be the view from 50 storeys up. omg that is the lamest thing luhh!

then we went to the mock hdb apartments, there was 2, 3, 4 and 5 room flats. quite cool luh. it was fun to go inside and see how a 2345 room flat apartment looked like. the interior decor was so-so, kind of modern but looked cheap as i think they dun bother to spend a lot on the furniture of fake hdb flat apartments. the 2 room flat was small and cosy but big enough for 1/2 ppl to stay, me and ke like! (: the houses suprisingly had many rooms but all the rooms so small. the kitchen, toilet, even masterbedroom so tiny. i think if there were real furniture the cupboards will take up all the space and end up being squashed haha. oh alright nvm. i think i shall put up with my place at the moment. we were talking about how parents like the furniture to be all woody and stuff. no modern, arty, abstract elements in the interior furnishing.

oh and we also discussed how to counter dirty old men. haha the way is to hit there. real hard. haha whatever its gross, yes it is!

then we got to eat. went to toa payoh hub. i was like eh this place why so familiar arh? but i thought it was a new place and just walked then finally i said: OHH this is toa payoh hub! then they were like: now u finally realise. aiya always liddat everytime i go toa payoh hub will not realise it IS toa payoh hub until quite a while later. ok then we went to eat. went kou fu to eat. it is like this food junction sort of place but smaller. ended up eating a lot la and wasting money.
I ate char siew wan ton min with 1 egg ($3.50) and pinched the tiniest bit of ke and cy's ice kachang and ate 1/5 of sher's popiah and bought bengawan solo's tiger roll and finally drank dragon fruit juice cos i was very thirsty. sher bought 2 popiahs! haha. and ke and cy shared ice kachang then they (ke mainly) wanted to buy so much food after that bought 1 popiah for them to share then wanted to buy carrot cake, another popiah blah blah lol. not i the only one hor! then after that me and ke went bengawan solo to buy 1 ang ku kueh and eggtart (hers) and tiger roll (mine). yeahs. then when i bought the dragon fruit juice i saw this malay guy who SUSPICIOUSLY! really suspiciously looked like MAS SELAMAT! *gushes* dramadramadrama mama. hahaha. he seriously looked like lor i was about to alert the police or friends but they were all outside and i was like buying the juice INSIDE and the stupid fruit juice took so long to make that he got away scot free so quickly. hmph. still very bu fu qi. maybe its not him la, cos he's taller than 158m (seriously short for a man!) and dosen't limp. but i still think he looks very suspiciously similar! why the fruit juice aunties didn't notice a thing one?????

eh ok then we didn't do much after then went back to the bus and school and waited in the foyer with huiqun, kay yi and mala. hahaha. and i posted in yahoo!groups for mops to bring $11.50 tomorrow for shirt fee! :D hehehe. talked about some random stuff, not metioning stuff about properties and cars and songs (haha we were so inspired by the hdb tour). oh ya i told hui qun about the click five's stupid new singer kyle patick he is so super stuck up and snobby but the other members are nice. like so many ppl love the old click five more than the new one lor. haha i shall flame him here can't stand his attitude man! uhh that's about it my mum came quite fast to pick me up (hahaha i was the first :P). yupyup. went home and did com stuff. i think. actually can't remember. omg my memory is sooooo BAD.

uhhmm, yup!! :D i was suprised i could bathe so fast, in time to watch my 8 oclock show, actually not that fast just 1X minutes almost 20 minutes. so watched tv ate dinner (today's was quite yummy) and then BLOGG! YAYE! :D

hey! sorry for not posting yesterday..
i have broken my one post per day rule.. haha. really wanted to post but not much time..
well i shall update on friday's dinner now.
we ended up going to this mini steamboat place at novena..
it was really good. u could order individual dishes like meatballs or stuff and choose your own to put inside the steamboat. yummy and easy to eat.
we ordered scallops which were like 5 pcs for $10.
we also ate delicious fish glue (fish meat), fish balls, beefballs which tasted super cheesy and were slightly yellow at the edges; that makes me wonder if they did add cheese into the beefballs, scallops, veggies, shui jiaos, and maybe some other stuff i can't remember for the steamboat thing as well as some shanghai red tofu (ketchup explains the colour) and oyster omelette, some cabbage in nice sauce with yucky strands of ginger (why did they have to add that?!) and rice.. HAHA I AM MAKING YOU HUNGRY :D
and the bill ended up to..
ninety plus bucks..
my sis is watching nickelodeon now.. the naked brothers band song is playing in the background haha.. some crazy girl song.. yup okay random.
i am contemplating if i should sell some of my old clothes that i don't wear on the net.. for like quite cheap so ppl will buy haha. should i?

okay will update about yesterday.
friday night.. after reaching home i went on the com. haha was super highhh luhh. !:D toked to sher on msn and found my blog with tags! yay! so happy haha. sher said cy updated her blog so went to read. i dunno why i read her post and kept laughing ahaha is it that funny i dunno i just felt very high and hyper and happy and smiley. lolz. i felt like back to a part of my sec 1 life; i miss sec 1, it was slack and fun. but this wk was alright. a happy week! yupyup. then went to bathe and had the L.O.V.E song in my head. one word to describe me that night is hyper!
i went to sleep with my clothes taking up 2 thirds of my bed so i had to squash in a corner.. woke up a few times in the middle of the night. i think this means i didn't have a very good sleep. i even woke up to think that i was sleeping on the other side of the bed. somehow mysteriously i thought i had moved, but i looked at my surroundings to find that i was still in the same place. anyway. what happened last morning? i can't remember. must go ask ppl first. ok i didn't need to ask ppl. i suddenly remember now.
YES, it was ANGKLUNG!
i must learn to spell angklung properly. it's SO embarrassing, i've always spelt it as anklung for like 32489003 years. but its spelt as anGklung. angklung members pls dun kill me.
so i woke up at like 7 something yesterday. ate brekky then got changed and off i went to school.
Edith had mumps and Jolynn had fever. so all never come. U ALL PANGSEH ME! D:
haha jk la.
when i reached school, went foyer and saw charmaine yap, averil, ruo xi, sabreena and some other ppl sitting on the benches at the left corner of the foyer (when u just enter). i walked towards them and ruoxi started laughing. i was like. what? and gave them uhh? looks. i still dunno what they were laughing abt. haha. then sat next to charmaine yap. then not long after sam ang came and ruo xi laughed again. sam ang gave us the what's happening? look too.
then we went to the ak room and sat for a while. sat with geena. saw the seniors (shi tian, he jia, charlotte and ying yin) playing with an oil blotter that was on the ground, blowing it and moving it with an angklung and making comments about it. haha they v hilarious. it was shi tian's bdae yesterday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! :D

then we went pe dept for prac. some other quite interesting things happened and wanted to blog about it, but i forgot already. we played 3 songs yesterday, TANKA AIR PU or something like that (name of one song) it was quite nice. also played U R ALWAYS IN MY HEART, another song that was quite nice. i like the melody. and lastly played this patriotic indonesian song that was ok too la. all these songs i never play before, so like wasn't sure how to play the rhythm initially. but got used to it after playing a bit la. haha. i've become very musical lately. sometimes i will have this tune i composed myself in my head - and want to write it down, except i don't learn music so i dunno how to record. my singing also not very gd so dun ask me to sing- i also appreciate music more now, and like to pretend i'm playing the piano. oh ya then during anklung when the kuls were being played everyone was like tapping their foot on the ground. haha i want to laugh la, i was smiling and felt like laughing. u can think i'm weird for all i care, whatever lor. oh ya then i was quite high and restless yesterday, and popped out saying stuff and laughing all of the sudden, which caused ppl to laugh. like RUO XI. we had break at 10.50 and went canteen to eat. were made to go back at 11.15. haha. i spent $2.50. bought ice mountain, want want seaweed big round cracker, this wafer thing that was chocolate coated and had frozen milk thing inside, tastes a bit like kinder brueno (i like!:D) that i found in the ice-cream freezer place. only the first stall was open so bought from there. then at first i thought that was ice-cream but it was chocolate, so i bought a real ice cream, the Cravio one with 3 flavours. costed $0.70 + $0.30 + $0.50 + $1, so $2.50 in total. hah. my maths is so good :D

after the break, we did something real fun! (: kak faridah asked us to put our angklungs to one side and overturn the chairs and we were like, what is she doing? then we sat down behind our overturned chairs and the kul mallots and drumsticks were given to us. each person received a pair. then we were supposed to beat rhythms like as if playing the drums. that was SUPER fun!!!
haha highhh. mum just offered for the fam to go taka to eat then come back. i want to blog so i asked for takeaway! haha see how committed i am. continuing with anklung, we played different beats on the chairs. then kak faridah told us to put our hands on our chests and say: one by one and two by two the animals (went up the boat) okay i'm not sure about this part but the sentence went something like that. as u can see my memory is very bad. then we added more and said: one by one and two by two and three by three the animals (went up the boat). and we went up until five. she keeped asking: who cannot say anymore? who's breath stopped halfway? but no one's did. haha. it's so easy to say lah! haha yeah then she anyhow put us in groups of 5 and got us to create our own rhythms for 4 things. how do u say that, is it 4 bars? each bar has four beats. then some groups like ours had to go out cos or else not enough space. then i was so blur i went to the wrong group (charmaine loh's group) then she said amanda is in cheryl chan's group right then i was like oh.. then i went to my RIGHT group. :P haha. my group consisted of cheryl chan, he jia, si min, a new member whom i dunno the name of, and me. our tune intro use drumsticks to hit four counts, then shake 1 count, hit hit, shake 2 counts (me and the new member) then continue shaking for 2 bars which was 4 sets then take up the mallot and last time hit the angklung 9 times. while we were shaking the other group members would hit their own rhythm on the floor. then we all (diff groups) shared our tunes with each other back in the pe dept rm. then when i used the mallot to hit the angklung, kak faridah said: u kachau my ak i come kachau u. lol..

then we returned the mallots, took back our angklungs (i'm still having difficulty automatically spelling angklung correctly) and stood in a circle with 3 angklungs each on our arms. and we played. my arms and shoulders got so tired! then some of the seniors so funny, they took all the tiny cute angklungs that were seriously small. like the smallest angklungs. hahaha. then kak faridah got them to change of course. i took medium sized angklungs. didn't take any base anklungs but i didn't need to change my angklungs cos they were still not that small and i'm not those very tall (hmph!) ppl so i don't need to take big stuff. haha. one of the privileges of being short, but i'd still rather be tall(er).
that's pretty much of our angklung practice (8 am - 12.45 pm). we went back to the angklung room to bring back the angklungs that were stored in the pe dept and rearrange them according to types. i was in charge of the anklungs with the coloured bands and the old double lines one. yeah. then charlotte and he jia gave shi tian her bdae prezzies. haha. yup then went home after that.

my posts are really long! omg. can u be bothered to read them, actually? haha.. i'm trying to space them out so its easier to read rather than one big chunk of tiny words. hehe. umm well so after angklung went home. was very hungry and ate lunch and watched tv that i recorded. fought with mum. kind of made up after that lah, fu nu (or mu nu) mei you ge ye chou. that's chinese, in case u don't know. then went shopping for clothes hangers, cos i needed them to hang up my clothes. went to Isetan first but didn't have. then went over to tangs also didn't have what i wanted. there were only 1 pack of 6 heavy metal hangers that were made in Germany and that cost $28. so obviously we didn't buy. we went back to isetan for the car and also because i wanted to buy mini custard puffs! i was attracted to Sun Moulin's cute and nice smelling bread and pastries and ended up buying this mini chocolate glazed pastry and a cute airy cheese pastry for me, as well as cheese bun thing that mum wanted to buy but didn't want to eat in the end and half a loaf of raisin bread which she wanted to buy for the family to eat if we feel like eating. we also bought the refrigiratored japanese mini cream puffs from the isetan supermarket. $5.90 for a box of 12. i never knew it was so ex but i guess its ok since its like refrigeratored and imported from japan. around 50 cents each. school's new malay stall's cream puff is small and like 80 cents. but it's quite nice. i told some ppl already but the uncle who sells the stuff dosen't even look at his money. that time when i bought the custard puff i was counting my coins and gave him around 60 cents or something and before i could count 80 cents he already took the money. so i was like how much did i put already, how much more to give? so i asked him how much did i give u and he said 80 cents but i dun think i gave 80 cents but since he said then ok lor let him think i gave 80 cents. then it was very confusing so i just nvm la give him less oso nvm who ask the custard puff to be so ex. total rip off la! when i asked him why so ex he said, ya, but when u eat it, its like wow! and i was like ok..
haha that day me and cy were gossiping and complaining about that uncle la. whenever we buy curry puffs from him he will ask 1 or 2 or 3? like who will buy 3 curry puffs lor. very extra the things he says. haha. why am i digressing. lol.

oh so in the end we went to ikea after buying the fattening food. i ate the chocolate glazed thing it was quite nice. really chocolatey and yummy! the pastry was thick and nice. the glazed syrup thing was nice too. then the cheese thing was shaped in a puff with a tip sticking out. very cute! the description said it had a unique texture so i decided to try. outside has a bit of cheese and inside is hollow and coated with cheese. when u bite it, it is like soft and cheesy and a bit like the cream puff kind of pastry, the taste.. not the texture. very unique and nice! dunno how to describe. completely didn't regret buying them(: in the car also ate 1 slice of the raisin bread. the bread was soft, moist and chewy with a hint of cinnamon and dotted with raisins.. it's very nice! i think it is fresh bread so nice lor. i love the moistness the best. sun moulin's bread has really improved, cos last time when i bought from them i found their stuff so-so only but yesterday when i ate them it was really nice! in case you are wondering, it is next to mos burger as isetan. next to the supermarket too. very good stuff!
oh i'm not a glutton hor. the 2 pastries i was toking about are tiny, like smaller than the size of your palm.

yup. then went to ikea. ok i noe i'm really sounding like a glutton by now but i love ikeas sweedish meatballs! they are too nice! omgomgomgomgomg. so yummy la. the chicken wings not bad too. so nice lor! OMG!!!!!!! :D when i went there i smelt in and it was so nice. i was like so nice, i love it. then my mum asked me whether want to buy back home to eat for dinner. like spaghetti and meatballs! :D and chicken wings. then she said but my maid would have cooked dinner already. so i said nvm lor. that was the beginning when we first arrived at ikea. then we went to walk around looking for the clothes hangers. walk round and round and round so many times until walk tired to find the hangers lor! then we went to the adult hangers there all the hangers not nice. either too big, or too heavy (metal) or those yucky wooden ones that i bought before that has rough fibres sticking out everywhere and ruins your clothes + fingers. mum bought a few skirt hangers though. at least never walk so much for nothing. we ended up buying 6 packs of 8 colourful childrens' hangers. $1.80 a pack only lor! so cheap. even buy 6 packs only $10.80. saw the wardrobes and beds. all so soft and comfy and shiok. the wardrobes had so much space. felt tempted. but nvm la won't buy. then we went home. ate dinner and packed my clothes. used my new hangers. the stupid childrens hangers are so small that some of my clothes will fall off very easily on them cos they are far too small.

i haven't finished packing my clothes yet, but packed around 2 thirds of them already. now my wardrobe looks so full of clothes because last time i folded most of them, didn't hang them. looks a bit messy though. i put them in order of jackets, tank tops, outer pieces, inner tees for layering, nicer tops and t-shirts. i have so many t-shirts and look fat in most of them. grr. what happened last night was that i fell asleep on my bed cos i was too tired. i just lied down a bit then fell asleep. until this morning. haha. my dad just returned home with A BIG TAKA BAG FULL OF..
HANGERS!!! i think i have too many hangers now and too little hanging space to hang them all. i haven't finished using up my colourful childrens hangers yet, you see. and now i have a gazillion more. ok. i feel like i'm part of a cartoon show which episode reads hanger 凡脑. ok its supposed to be english but i can't think of a clever phrase to describe it. its like when the protagonist has too little hangers and is in search of more, and ends up with too much hangers in the end. ok mum and sis back with lunch (sushi and spaghetti :D) so i'm gonna eat. pretty much finished blogging about fri night and yesterday so yup! this post is very long haha, just like some of my other posts.

jy asked me why my photos all ppl no scenery, so i'm posting some photos of the scenery here now! but most of the scenery i took was the view during the boat ride.

hi!! just came back from shitting.
i kept hearing a hmmm sound in my ears in the toilet just now. dunno why i did.
anyway, today didn't have to go to school.
stayed at home the whole day.
OMG!! i just realised now is 5.17 ALREADY?!
i woke up quite late today. 11.20 am.
late or not? almost lunchtime leh. well i think i was bugged to get up at 9, 10, 11 but to no avail. i just slept like a log, refusing to get up.
parents went to work, so me and my sister were at home by ourselves all day. if you don't count my maid and my dogs.
dad gave us some money to order lunch delivery. we ended ordering pizza hut. we only ordered a garlic bread and hawaiian pizza to share. not a lot cos pizza hut's food is not THAT nice. found out that pizza hut's pizza is actually fried! did you know that? because i didn't. the bottom of the crust is like oily and fried (not exactly crispy but hard instead). my hands got super oily after that. ate some more crystal jelly after lunch as dessert. ate the green and red coloured ones (christmas colours!). no, that was not on purpose. i ate them cos i didn't try those flavours yet. the green is like corn and some powdery yellow stuff that tastes weird. is that supposed the be PANDAN? red is definitely read bean. then like 1 + hours later i tried the white bean paste one. i also took a bite out of the orange coloured jelly, which was the peanut one, and realised i ate that last night -.- so i cut off the salivary (or not so salivary) bit and didn't eat after that.

anyway, i spent the morning emptiying out my wardrobe, and i realised i have quite a lot of clothes. i dumped everything out and onto my bed, and it formed a huge mountain. my wardrobe is like bursting and there's no more space to put any new clothes, but that's also because my wardrobe isn't very big. the drawers are so congested that sometimes the clothes will fall to the bottom of the cupboard when brushing against the other drawer on top. aiya dunno how to say do u get it? i almost finished emptying out but still left some clothes inside. hais. have to put everything back again later. must iron and fold it. nvm let my maid do? definitely let her do the ironing. i shall fold some myself and when i get tired of folding i'll get her to do it. haha(: welllllll. i need to arrange everything into different categorys so its easier to find the things i want to wear. i wish i had more space and more drawers. there are just 5 medium sized drawers and 1 big space for hanging stuff in my wardrobe! i want like tiny drawers so i can put one category in 1 drawer. grr. and where do i put my bags? i seriously need a big huge space where i can put all my stuff. well, i'll try la haha. its quite fun arranging them. i'll have stuff like inner tees for layering, tunics, tops, t-shirts, jeans, shorts, bags, accessories, beachwear and stuff etc. cannot name them all la as well as clothes that i won't wear at all, wear sometimes and always wear . shoes i put in the shared cupboard outside.
when packing just now i found some stuff like a multi-purpose faux silk sash and a beachwrap. the kind meant for wrapping around like a skirt when you're wearing your swimming costume before you jump into the pool. and i found like 10000000 ways to use them! ok maybe like 5 or 6 ways to wear the sash and 7 or 8 ways to wear the wrap. it's so fun doing this kind of things. oh ya and i decided one day i'll turn those things that i won't wear into new stuff and revamp them. but i think by the time i get to it i'll get bored after just cutting one line through the cloth. short attention span. i get bored very easily haha. maybe i should use these DIY stuff as part of my proposal for fashion cluster next year? cos we're supposed to have some project thing like reusing some old clothes and turning them into new nice clothes. i also designed one summer collection piece today. its like beachy and summery, hee i love summer! so bright and colourful and lighthearted. i like winter clothes too, they're so cool and pretty. autum is okay la, but i find autum a bit dull. is there even any autum collection dun think so. ehh then spring is what? heheh normal clothes?!!

after lunch just slacked and watched tv. like disney channel stuff. and then i went off to my com to relieve boredom cos tv is kind of boring. yay! so i'm blogging now. yes, i know i take a long time to blog. it's like 5.56 now. srsly i didn't noe its so late already lor, thought it was 1 something just a while ago. haha maybe i should try waking up earlier so i have more time in the day. ok that's about it. i think the rest of the day will just be spent on the com and we're going out for dinner tonight but no idea where we going. must record my shows!!

Kukup Trip

hello again, world.
yes, i'm posting again.
today's thursday! went for the kukup trippp.
i have a LOT of photos which i'm going to post here!

OKAY.
summary of the day AGAIN.
it was a pretty fun day, and this week seemed to be super long. 1 day is equiv. to a week, and days seem even longer than some normal school WEEKS.
which is still alright, coz i don't mind my life being more eventful and long, rather than those meaningless typical days where you do the same thing again and again and time just passes just.. meaninglessly.
ok getting quite repetitive.
today was a whole day of camwhoring fun!

ok, i'm going to try paragraphing so its easier to read.
this morning: set my alarm clock to sound at 5.45.
i was very sleepy and reluctant to get up so i procrastinated and lazed around until about 6.
went out to eat tomato Breadtalk bread.
blah blah blah stuff u do in the morning then left for school.
went KS chee and sat with chen yan and camwhored a little. introductory of snacks inclusive.
waited a while then boarded the bus. sat next to kay yi again.
started munching away and doing random things.
on the way, we also camwhored and oh i also brought my ipod today so we listened too.
very fun! i love bustrips. super comfy seats la just sit there and slack and eat and sleep and listen music, very shiok.
i'm such a camwhore cos it's so fun.
well, i guess we chatted and did stuff throughout the bus journey.. occasional turnhead backs to the two girls sitting behind us and staring at the class.

we ate skittles(kay yi's) and chips and seaweed(fried algae) and caramellised biscuits and thousand layer cookies and dried apricots and lakerols and ribena pastils. and listened to music. and recited Pull Emily .. i'd. somehow it was just fun. i love relaxing okayyy!

then after that we reached johor and had to get down of the coach to have our passports checked. what was funny was that they scanned your passport to check and put your face side by side against mas selamat's face and luckily for all of us, the verdict was a NO MATCH.

then we reached kukup! the first part after reaching malaysia was johor, it was some deserted huge piece of land with mostly soil, grass and plants. so wasted lor, a big piece of land with just ruddy sediments; if Singapore had that piece of land they could build so many things there luhh.

reached kukup.. we first went to some place that i thought we'd be eating at but we didn't have lunch straight away. we took a boat ride to the floating fish farm. the view and sea wind was very nice! we finally arrived at the floating fish farm. it was pretty cool and interesting, at first we had to walk on wooden planks that looked so vunerable surrounded by green water. but we managed to walk across np. haha. in the midst of walking across the wooden planks, i suddenly realised that the whole thing was FLOATING! that's why its called the floating fish farm. we walked to this section where a square of water was formed by surrounding wooden planks and the fish farm ppl and the tour guide told us about the different kind of fishes like garoupa and promfret. next we moved on to this more stable ground where we were introduced to sea creatures like seahorses, water snakes and the oh-so-cute puffer fish! it is white and rubbery like a soft rubber inflatable ball that is flat and puffs up to a ball with spikes! it's my favourite out of all the sea creatures we saw. i ate fugu (puffer fish) before in japan, but as its poisonous and the poison has to be very thoroughly cleaned out (i think it was but they leave a little tiny bit of poison to let your tongue have a numb feeling) , i ate the least poisonous part and it was quite nice. haha. supposed to be expensive or something.

then we took the boat back to the village sort of thing. we went around the village for an educational tour. there was a cement pavement where we walked on and on the sides there were holes with green water. the houses the residents live in are supported with pillars which are partially submerged in the green water. i asked chen yan if she would jump in if someone gave her 1 million dollars and she said no. i said i would if i someone were to give me 1 mil. then she told me that there were water snakes and barnacles on the pillars that might bite you and your life would be put in danger. then without contemplating i said i wouldn't jump in either cos i didn't know there were such creatures inside, i thought it was just green dirty water. can you believe it? the people there mostly ride bicycles or motorcycles, they don't drive cars! we walked around and were introduced to this shop that sold crystal jelly, by the tour guide. many people bought to try. it is a bit like agar agar (the coconut type), except it is less soft. it has fillings and is available in 6 different colours and flavours, namely pandan/ corn, peanut, red bean paste, white bean paste, yam and pineapple, and it costs 6 RM for 12 pieces. i bought 2 of each flavour. the jelly is very nice but i don't like the pineapplefilling and i so-so the peanut filling. we went to the temple too but didn't do much, then we went to the restaurant place for lunch. we were served tea, rice, vegetables, tofu, chicken wings, fried fishmeat balls, fish and prawns. the chicken wings were very tasty. the tofu was nice too but a bit salty, when it came everyone was fighting to get some. the fish was ok. chen yan and ke were crazy over the fish they love it so much man. it was so funny, seeing huiqun, chen yan and ke taking the fish, making sure it was clean before turning to the other side. hahaha. the meal was quite good.

after lunch was zi you huo dong time. we were allowed to go walk walk and see around the shops by ourselves. so off we went to walk. went to food and snack shops, clothes shops, pirated dvd shops and a shop that sold toys and things. we ended up buying double mint chewing gum, i bought the pellet type. we were told to eat at least one of the chewing gums before going through the customs or they would fine us $100 if they found any unopened pack of gum. we also bought 3 for $10 packs of snacks: a big pack of 14 packs of preserved orange peel and 2 packs of 14 jellys each and split them between ourselves. bought a pack of saliva bubbles also, 9 tubes for only 1 RM leh! so cheap lor even cheaper than the ones they sell in singapore (i think they sell 3 tubes for S$1). gave ke some and iliana one tube. initially i blew this really small bubble and we stuck a pink plastic lip on the bubble which was very wrinkled and stuck it to the bus window. haha it got sqaushed into a ball in the end. joey blows really big saliva bubbles, she blew one the size of a basketball. camwhored more and rested on the way back ate snacks too. blah. dun feel like writing so much basically just sat in the bus till we reached school. and we went around johor for a bit and were introduced to the different things. i wasn't really paying attention la.

went back to school and got dismissed from there. walked back home. i'm bored now. oh ya went home watched tv and tried the crystal jelly. dun feel like writing the details already la so i shall stop my summary of the day HERE.
