my 28th post-already!

anyway, as you all know, today was ORA. hehe. and so, i'm going to talk about that.

woke up as early as usual as we had to reach there at seven thirty as my sis had the walk-a-jog thing, and i had angklung duty at eight. RI is so super huge, so i didn't really know where to go at first. i found the canteen eventually and decided the stall should be there, and after a bit of scouting i finally located the angklung stall tucked away at the part of the canteen further behind.

found angklung seniors/ teacher IC and kind of set-up the stall deco. when the pizzas came a while later, we also went to collect them and set up the things. we had paper plates, tongs, the pizzas sorted according to their flavours and all. two whole boxes were sold quite fast, (as in they bought the entire box), and individual slices were also grabbed very fast. the pizzas sold damn well man! :D
I served the pizzas on the plates and sometimes collected the money and there were many ppl who bought one after another, such good business delighted me. we ordered 12 boxes initially, each box containing 8 slices and each slice costing $2. customers would get the pick of their choice; hawaiian, beef pepperoni or cheesy sausage. all our pizzas sold very fast, hawaiian being the most popular. then we ordered another 6 boxes and that sold fast too, so we ordered another 6 boxes again and that sold also. angklung rules! :D

then jolynn and edith came very late. they got lost and went to rj at first, lol. then we had to carry the signboard around to promote our stall, that didn't require much promotion as ppl were buying already, and i don't think the promotion helped as well.

so yeah.. then after i was done with my angklung shift (i was very hardworking and stayed very long okay), i went around taking photos for photog duty..

i have a lot of photos and feel like putting them up here, but i'm not sure if there's a rule that dosen't allow photos to be shown before they are uploaded somewhere?? i dunno what i'm saying, too.

i was so idiot today, i forgot to bring my whole pouch with my handphone and wallet. sucks right? in the end i borrowed money.. must remember to pay them back!
i bought a lot of stuff today, mostly foods..
bought pizza, green apple green tea bubble tea, PB's choco cupcake, cheese fries, chocolate fondue stick.. that's about it. maybe i bought 1 or 2 other things that i forgot what they were. oh and i also got free nachos and lapis sagu (the colourful layered malay kueh).

yup. it was quite slack lahhhh. it started to rain one time and the wind blew our postcards all over the place..
basically sat at the stall with nina and louise and tried selling our postcards.. response not as good as pizza's but there were ppl who bought la. i managed to take the PB dunking photos! it's damn funny..
dun noe if i can put it here if we're going to use them though, so not putting in case (:
ehhhh. not much to write about also larh. went home by mrt and bus. had to borrow money again. lol..

i went home and was bored, so i decided to play with make-up! cleansed my face, then put moisturiser, foundation, drew my eyebrows, put eye shadow and eyeliner, as well as blusher and lip gloss. it was quite fun and satisfying as this time it worked out quite nicely, unlike last time when i experimented myself during angklung performances and looked FUGLY. haha. proud of myself! i took a damn long time to do it haha. like about, 2 hours? yeah, took my time to slowly do and draw.
i also took some photos since i had put in so much effort into it; it would be so wasted if i spent so long doing it and just rub it off right after that.
but then, i'm super unphotogenic so the photos looked uglier than how i looked in real life. and most of the photos were very ugly lor. (so i deleted them all ugly ones).

i'm not putting the photos here cos it's kind of embarrassinggggg!

and then at 5 something, my dad came back and told us we were going to mandai to pay respects to our ancestors (qing ming jie again). grr. i was like. ?! never tell me earlier..
well, i completely didn't have the mood to go but it is very important to pay respects to your ancestors so i just went in the end. we go every year.
i removed my make up and took quite long to get ready.. then we set off.
when we reached that place i was moaning and groaning and acting like a spoilt kid. well, i was reluctant to go in the first place and i dun like all the smoke and stuff that irritates my eyes. it is all the way in mandai and i certainly don't really like going there, similar to how i felt the past few years. eventually we got it over and done with after paying respects and burning the paper money stuff. actually i was quite well-behaved and tried to not be so complainy as possible, of course with the exception of an occasional lament; can't really blame me for not LOVING tomb sweeping festival, can you?

after we finished praying and burning the offerings, we went to eat dinner somewhere nearby. i dun like those little bits 'o ashes flying at you and inadvertently getting stuck to your hair/ clothes, btw. anyway, we wanted to have yong tau foo but they kind of closed for the day and had no food left so we went a few stalls away to eat at this place that served chinese dishes. and guess who i saw on the way there? Mrs Deborah Tan, our ex-principal! she was with a man, her husband presumably, and they were just walking and eventually walked out of my sight. haha, i was quite excited, not because i idolise her or anything, it's just queer seeing your ex-principal walking on the streets of a not very bustling place, one night. anyway, we ate and ordered pai gu wang, tou fu guo, duck wings and egg, french beans with hey bee hiam and rice. and drinks too.
da-baoed prata from the prata place to eat at home. the prata was oozing with oil and was not as fresh by the time i ate it at home. intended to be chocolate thin prata, ended up chocolate oil prata.

i've gotta go catch some sleep now, it's 12:09 AM and i've gotta wake up early again tomorrow. going to ke's house to do our lit pt. still need to prepare the things.
