i woke up in bed this morning, finding that i've turned fourteen.

heh. actually woke up around my actual bdae time, kind of automatically i dunno why, but didn't bother to check the time. also i slept quite late last night! arnd 2 plus.. well, i decided i should go back to slp and slp in since i would be very tired if i got up so early, despite my surge of energy.
haha managed to fall asleep and woke up at 10 something instead! feels great but no one's at home as they went to the supermarket to buy food for the party.
i guess i'll start getting ready!

my 80th post alr! :D

today was loads of fun!
i went out with lois.
yay. (:

took a bus to cine and met her there.
the bus was super squeezy lor!
anyway, the shops were mostly closed again, like how it was like just 2 days ago, we went to more than words. i bought chocolates, biscuits and a pair of chopsticks :D and lois bought the same except no chopsticks and a key chain and she gave part of it to me.

i splurged a lot today heheh, around $100 + excluding the shoes and other stuff my mum paid for further on.
i think i better stop spending once the bdae period is over!
hee hee, will indulge for the moment.
lets see what i bought:

-cute chocolates, biscuits and chopsticks ($7.80)
-neoprints ($10)
-four albums ($57.65)
-lunch (around $15)
-hoodie plus hairband thing you use when u cleanse your face ($21 +)
-O.P.I. nail lacquer ($22.95!!)

um that's about it, i think.
oh ya the hoodie was really a steal, cos it cost only 15 dollars when it used to cost $29.95 originally!
it was on sale or something i think (:
and, it looks really nice and is super comfy too :DDDD
i love it!!

anyway, after going to more than words we decided to go to heeren since it was only eleven plus and it wouldn't be until twelve when the neoprint shop would open.
so we walked there and went around the shops.. then we were feeling hungry so decided to eat.
wanted to go to village at first, which is the place we always went last time..
haha but i think it closed alr.
so we decided to go to taka instead.
ate at ambush.
i ordered swedish meatball spaghetti and she ordered cream vongole. we also ordered a clam chowder soup with garlic bread each.
then because the clam chowder was kind of creamy and the bread was big and filling (carbos!), we felt quite full after eating most of the soup. mind you, we hadn't even FINISHED the soup yet ok! so we picked at our pasta and left around half to a third of it untouched..
haha feel a bit wasted but was really bloated! XD

after lunch walked around taka then we went to cine to take neoprints.
the stupid neoprint place had some kind of new policy that one person can only change $10 worth of coins.
so we took twice ($22) and only could change $20 coins, so lois paid $2 extra as i had no one dollar coins.
haha i looked super unglam in all the neoprints today! haha but nvm la, not like i'm showing them to anyone, anyway. :D

after neoprints we walked about cine.. then wanted to watch a movie.
we contemplated abt watching what happens in vegas but the earliest slot was 7.15 pm!
the only reasonable-timeslot-movies were ironman and indiana jones..
but we weren't really interested, so decided not to watch any movies.
yeah haha.

went to wisma to shop after that.
had to walk again! we were both feeling super lazy (just now already walked from cine to heeren then to taka and back to cine).
however lazy we were, we still walked.
finally arrived wisma (:
so we shopped at wisma; i was determined to buy something today.
um we shopped randomly but didn't see much nice stuff and our legs were tired (get tired very fast haha) so we decided to sit down and slack and eat cake!
went to breadtalk at first but didn't find anything suitable..
so went upstairs to starbucks.
lois treated me! so nice of her right! (:
today she already treated me to half a keychain that cost arnd $13.90, $1 worth of neoprints plus this!
haha we ordered a mango cheesecake to share (i think it was the most un-sinful one of the lot) and an iced chocolate for me and a mango passionfruit ice blended thing for her.
it's so funny, they have three sizes for their drinks, tall, grande and another name which i forgot, for the biggest size. and the tall size is actually very small!
anyway, the whole place was kind of pack so we eventually found this nice comfy sofa thing at the side, this mum with a baby sat opposite us.
the baby was very cute haha!
we ate my supposed bdae cake and drank our drinks and took our own sweet time. (:

then finally finished, very full, and went off.
i had this weird idea of taking a picture with the kid at first, but we decided it'd be too weird. haha.

anyway we continued shopping after the meal.
i suggested shoe shopping! this way can sit down on the couch and rest hahaha.
then went about and tried on shoes.
i liked the ones i saw the other day! haha saw it and liked it before, still liked those few!
but as i was running low on cash, i decided to call my mum here later and then ask her to pay. heheh.
anyway shortlisted a few.
did i mention, we went to cotton on body?
i forgot if it was before or after the shoe shopping, but we went and bought our matching hoodies.
i really like it! it's such a fine steal, don't you think too? teehee.

anyway after some shoe shopping, we felt it was time to do something else, and thought at the same time, we should do a mani! or a pedi, since we had school next wk.
haha very happy.
so we walked back to taka just at the mouth of the connecter of wisma and taka.
there was a mani shop there.
then the person said we had to wait one hour, be it mani or pedi.
and then she also asked me if i have extra slippers cos i was wearing flats and need to wear slippers or the nail polish might smudge.
hmm so we decided not to do at that place and went to another part of taka to try see if had instead!
went to the information counter to ask.
we are blurheads, so didn't really know how to go at first (just like how we always dunno how to go everywhere else) but somehow our legs managed to walk us there.
haha so very happy.
the information counter told us to walk all the way in and we would find it. we followed the instructions and did find it! haha very happy again.

asked the ppl and they said we had to wait for an hour, as well.
so we were like, nvm dun do la.
then we took a look at the O.P.I. nail polish and liked the bright red one!
so i bought one bottle and it's freaking ex.
but, it's good quality stuff. (:
i liked the orange coloured one and yellow one too, but no money to buy. (by that time had spent quite a lot already and i didn't want to become penniless.)
hmm next time ok.
lois was so funny, she couldn't decide btwn bright red (same as what i was getting) and a darker shade at first, then she was thinking if she should buy black. then kept changing her mind. she finally bought the same as me, in the end. ahaha.

after buying nail polish walked to the food place and lois bought 2 sticks of pork from tori-Q. then we walked to mc donalds to sit.
then soon after she had to go already, mum and sis went to pick her up.
so as i was borrowing her phone (my phone super low bat) we walked to the taxi stand together.
then i asked my mum to come to orchard after her seminar ended (so she can buy all those stuff i couldn't pay for, for me! :D MWAHAHA.)
it was 4.45 pm and she said she'll only finish around 5.30 or a little later.
so i went to kino to wait.
sat at the childrens' section and stoned there.
looked at the pretty scarce pics in my cam (with super low bat as well) and the neoprints from just now (which i looked quite ugly in; ALL OF THEM). heh.
succeeded in wasting some time stoning and looking at those stuff, and slping a little and just staring blankly into space. hah.
i was quite tired, by then.
i was thankful my phone still managed to stay alive, super important for communicating where to meet mum; i get so pissed and dun like it when my phone has no bat and i need to contact ppl!!
haha and i realised i couldn't possibly spend an hour just stoning so i took a book to read.
i have that book already, but only read a few chapters and didn't finish it (as i do for all of my books, btw that book is around a year old alr), so i continued reading frm the part i stopped at. haha progressed a little.

then my mum came at around 5.45 and met her then we went to wisma to shop.
bought a pair of flats and slippers (another item on sale! :D originally 30 plus, now $19.90 only!) yay i love the great singapore sale. all the more makes me wanna buy.
the flats were priced more expensively though, but still affordable as it's less than a hundred bucks! i consider most things under a hundred affordable, of course depending on what the item is. if its a sandwich and $25, it's super ex! if its a bag or something that's really nice, then its ok la.
anw, both shoes together cost less than $100!

after shopping for and hour and a half about, went home to pick up sis.
then went to hua ting restaurant at orchard hotel for dinner.
we ordered a soup and 3 dishes to share. some of the food was quite nice, some dishes we ordered were so-so.
haha.
anyway thanks for the dinner, mum! supposed to be family celebration thing. i think.

haha then went home lor.
quite late already.. but i still feel the night is young.
fyi it's 12.24 am on my clock now.
i have yet to bathe + pack my stuff haha.

omg it's 31st may already! :D
technically my bdae haha!
say happy birthday to me! c'mon! hahaha.
well, i'm still 13 and dunno how many days and hours, cos there's still a couple of hours till my REAL REAL bdae.
ahaha.
going out to celebrate again tomorrow. prob another day shopping. and then to 2a for party tomorrow.
ordered almost all the food alr, pizza, sushi, ribs and all. the cake too. :D

Outing + tuition

hello! i think you can guess what i did today from e title..

oh and, this post is gonna have A LOT of photos!
it takes a long time to upload!

anyway, today aerin came to pick me up at 11.30.
uncle andy drove us to cine.
we went in and all the shops were closed! almost all.

still took pictures anyway.

we wanted to take neoprints but the shop ppl said it would only open at 12 pm.
walked around and went to more than words.
it was like the only shop that was open. haha.

snow globes

i saw the pair of cute strawberry plush toy bedroom slippers i saw last time! (the time i went to sing kbox with my friends), haha.
then i was like, "so cute!"
then aerin said you wanna buy so i was pondering if i should buy it.
i decided to buy it in the end!
it is super cute and comfy! (i tried in on already, it is super soft and nice! :D)
i also saw this cute orange plush toy thing.. very soft and nice to hug! :D
i loved the colour too.. but didn't buy as i only had $50 plus with me and the slippers already cost a whopping $14.95. i'm feeling super cheapskate today haha.
btw it cost $14.95 too (cute elf toy thing, very cute loh!).
i also thought i might go to action city to see if they have as cute, or cuter ones.
haha i wanted to buy almost everything at more than words just now, because all of them were so cute!
however, due to my financial constraints, all i bought was the cute slippers.
haha i love soft toys but i think i might not have space to put all of them at home.
they will most prolly keep falling off my bed! XD
anyway, aerin bought this cute precious moments chopsticks and super cute chocolates.

after leaving more than words, we went to a shop selling sports stuff then to the neoprint place and it was finally open! :D

we took at this really pretty and nice booth, all their things are so nice, from backgrounds to decorations! (:
hmm chose the pure lady mode.
the neoprints were shiiiii-neh! :D
we felt like taking again so we took another booth this time, not bad also lah. spent $11 each.
after the neoprints we wanted to walk to paragon.
so we were about to leave cine when we saw that it was raining.
damn it!
haha we didn't care just chiong..
and we got wetttt!
haha, we were so desperate for shelter that we anyhow ran to taka first.
the rain got heavier.. i used my plastic bag to cover my head bt the rest of me still got wet.
haha.
chionged to taka; the ground was wet and had small puddles of water and i was afraid of getting all wet and gross!
stepped into the air con and it was C-O-L-D!
we walked about randomly, trying to wait for the rain to stop.
it didn't!

we walked about the food place (haha one of my favourite places it's just so nice!)
went into cold storage.
aerin liked the peaches and aloe veras, haha. (:
we took a spastic picture with the aloe veras.
i realised that the supermarket is a very good place to camwhore with very nice props! (like all the cute japanese stuff)! but we didn't camwhore; well, not with those stuff.
we went to buy sushi..

i bought 2 sushis for $2 and she bought 3 for $3.10..
then we went to the cashier to pay.

the funniest thing happened man!

i wanted to take the video of the sushi moving on the conveyer belt, but something even funnier happened (what happened in the vid). if you found it funny, you have a sense of humour.. if you don't nvm.
we had a good time laughing like siao! XD
i think the cashier was super pissed.. we succeeded in pissing off a lot of ppl today.
haha felt embarrassed after the incident (even took a video somemore!) so i quickly ran away, still laughing uncontrollably.

next, we went to this counter place where there were free samples of green tea.
i wanted to take pictures and we also drank it since we were thirsty.
haha freeloaders!

we even took a pic..

anyway, after we drank it (it tasted kinda, um, weird, and cold?) the lady at the counter came to us and asked us if we needed anything.
without thinking i said, "is there a dustbin?" as we finished drinking and i wanted to throw the empty cups away.
then the lady stretched out her hands to collect the cups from us.
aerin started laughing and i started laughing too and we kept laughing -i don't know why-and i think the lady got a bit pissed.
we scampered off after that. (hmm felt a bit bad and embarrassed)

we went to the benches to sit down and eat our sushi.
we occupied four chairs as two were used by us and two were used to put our bags.
but it was all right, since there wasn't anyone else sitting.
lol.. i took out my cute strawberry slippers to take a pic so i can show you! :D

after our sushi we were ready to leave taka for paragon but went to the cosmetics section to look about a bit first.

Eau de parfum

we rushed to paragon. it was raining heavily (well, quite, for the fact we didn't have umbrellas)
we went to take a look at the umbrellas for sale at taka departmental store but they were all so ex.
aiya so we were like heck care just run and get wet.
the puddles of water on the ground! D:
it was raining so heavily that my plastic bag DID help, contrary to what aerin had said earlier on.
haha look at how much water droplets it had collected!

it doesn't look a lot in the photos, but in real life i assure you my plastic bag- and handbag- were thoroughly wet.
luckily they were waterproof.. haha.

i felt cold again basking in the air con in paragon.
anyway, we went to Burberry (with wet shoes and all, but we didn't create a scene) and saw the stuff. haha so nice! :D
and we walked randomly to other places too.. forgot where already.
then we went to eat as a little hungry.
went to take a look at the eating places then we decided on spageddies.

got a nice seat at the edge of the restaurant and looked at the menu and took quite long to decide what to order..

we finally ordered; she ordered agio olio and i ordered some ham pasta with cream sauce, called ham carbonara, i thnk.
our food came and we ate..
aerin didn't like her pasta.. mine was okay.
ate until very bloated.

after our meal, we asked for the bill and refil of water.
we were given a single receipt and because of the gst, didn't know how much exactly to pay each.
so we asked to pay seperately.
then aerin took a loooong time to pay, counting and using all her coins (which were a lot).
haha i think that was another person pissed off, today.

anyway left spageddies and went to the childrens level.
sat on the merry go round but we didn't play.
oh ya, i was broke after that! spent about $50, plus another few bucks on 7 eleven later on.
anyway, i felt insecure with so little money in my wallet.
anyway, that is digressing, too. haha.
we camwhored a bit but some of the photos looked unglam. (today not a very photogenic glamourous day).

random GUESS kids

we went to random places and then went to toys r us.
no offense, but, toys r us was quite boring to me.
we went to this section where they sold girly princessy stuff for little girls (i remember i had some of those kind of things when i was young! :D oh, the magic fairy wands, princess gloves, clip-on earrings, tiaras, slippers, handbags and all!)
we used the girly stuff as props and took pics. (:

walked about randomly (this toys r us was quite small compared to the normal other ones).
hmm, look at elmo trying to escape!

we had a sword fight too, quite fun.
we were running about like little kids even though we are so big already!
saw the toys r us person looking at us like that.
hehe.

went to camwhore with the thing (i dunno wat you call it) that you put a few coins in then it will move about, meant for little kids la.
paragon has tons of those!

we went to crumpler and this sports shop after that..
crumpler so ex man! haha.
aerin was fascinated by baseball stuff.
i liked these purple sparkly shoe laces but didn't buy them in the end.

well, the sports shop was kind of boring too..
i am super deprived of shopping really need to go one day! :D

went to marciano and the stuff are zomg damn nice! :D
love it! wish i could buy but all are a few hundred plus so they will have to wait.
i tell you, i will be rich one day ok!! hahaha.

hmm then it was four already so i needed to go home as i had tuition at 4.45, called mum and she came to pick us up so we went to the taxi stand to wait then eventually went home.
i went for tuition after that.. aerin stayed for a while but went home a bit after that as well.
there's nothing much to say about tuition..
i did my revision paper (those who fail math get that) and there are so many questions! i don't think i even finished a quarter of that!
i'm seriously a sucker at math..
i don't know how to do many questions, take a long time to do the sums, keep making careless mistakes and keep forgetting how to do the various kinds of questions too.
i get bored doing it as well.. haha.
and i found out we are going to have tons of simultaneous equations (is that what you call them?) next year in A math.
oh well.
went home, uploaded pics (very fast today :D maybe it's because of my new memory card) and ate dinner and watched tv.
usual stuff la.
haha yup then after dinner (still very full) came to blog! :D

hello!
i went for ak prac today..
and i'm still thinking of a suitable name for my batch hoodie! hehe, anyone care to help me think? (any nice, prefebly witty or just nice, name with 'lim' inside; eg. limousino/ lima bean/ whatever la! :D)
fyi, those 3 above are not counted as very nice. whatever la does not even fit the category.
i wish i could just pick any nice word as my name to be written on the hoodie, like juicy couture or princess or royalty or juiciness or some nice word :D :D.
there isn't anything nice with the word 'lim' inside. except for amanda lim, but of course. XD
stop showing me the -.- face hahaha.

after ak prac my mum came to pick me.
we went for lunch at taka.
i listened to my iPod, feeling deprived for not listening so long! :D
my pretty pink earphones, remember! :D they stand out against my navy pinafore!
i wore it and caught several furtive glances from ppl at taka upon entering the food level after taking the escalator..
i'm being ego!
nvm, i feel so dumb saying this.

we went to the food court and i remembered i wanted to eat ja jeong myun last time (cos i saw it on witch yoo hee last time and they made it sound very nice), didn't get to try it last time as by the time i saw it i had already ordered noodles from another stall.
i proceeded to order the noodles, thinking, yay, i can finally eat it! :D

then, the noodles turned out to be not nice at all!
it cost eight bucks but tasted horrid (somewhat like japanese curry? not that japanese curry is horrid, but it looked and tasted low quality.)
i ate half then didn't feel like eating anymore.
such a disappointment,
at least now i know and will never eat ja jeong myun again.
maybe i will if i really really go to korea and find out whether the singaporean korean food shoppe was scamming us.

after my meal, i went to watsons to briefly see the stuff there. like to just look around for fun, you know.
i ended up spending ages there.
i'm the kind who can waste time at one shop looking at things and deciding for the longest time ever.. haha.
i bought a concealer and a black head remover stick in the end.
the black head remover stick claims to be able to rub out the black heads of the pores, after cleansing your face, you rub the stick over your nose then they will come out. and you wipe away the black heads with tissue paper. i hope it works.

after finally exiting watsons after spending such a long time in there, now i don't even know why i bothered to stay there for so long, i got distracted again, by other shops along the way.
anyway i went into this shop that sold cameras and memory cards and ipods and random electronic stuff, and maybe a printer. u know the fujifilm photo printer stuff that prints 4R glossy photos when you insert your thumbdrive inside. it was a small shop. that isn't the point anyway.
thing is, i bought a new XD card for my camera, a 2GB one at that.
my current 1GB (i think) has very little memory space and i always have to keep deleting photos constantly.
AND, i'm the kind who cannot bear to delete photos, cos good moments the pics remind me of.. hehe. so i dun really like deleting and try not to delete as much as i can, thus allowing me very limited space for taking more photos!

okay, i said a little too much; the point is, i bought a new memory card! i'll have more space for photos now.
it was suprisingly quite cheap also, price ranging from $65 for 2GB card and $45 for a one GB one. haha, i don't really know the prices of these kinda stuff, so that's what i think.

then, we went to see the cakes available at taka.
ahem, that was the MAIN POINT actually, as i need to source for a birthday cake for my party on saturday.
as you can see, (from going in to the diff shops and all), i get distracted very easily.

well, we couldn't really find any nice cakes; mum suggested going to hilton hotel since some ppl said that their cakes were good.
however, being distracted as i was, i asked to walk to wisma since wisma and taka are just next to each other. (oh, i saw lois at taka outside the XD card shop! i heard, "amanda!" then turned around and saw her in her nygh uniform at the edge of the escalator. said hi back. (: i think she did something to her hair again! XD)

upon arriving wisma, i went into nine west to see see and saw this SUPERDEDOOPER cute bright yellow clutch! it's so pretty! exceptionally pretty esp when contrasted with my pinafore. again. :D
mummy offered to buy it for me, but as i knew i want a lot of other stuff (and will most probably be buying and spending a lot of money for my bdae), i said nvm la, as it's just another bag and there are ton of other nice bags i will see and want in the future.. so buying now is a waste of money! (cost $105 so it's not the kind i will just buy and still buy another bag in the future, not like $20/ $30 stuff!)
just about everything is nice to me! haha.

oh ya i saw the brilliant coloured shoes there and got reminded that i like brilliant bright colours; i adore pink, green, yellow, blue, orange and ROYAL BLUE. haha, many colours. :D
briefly walked around, went to sasa and spent quite a bit of time there, looking around and, erm, being indecisive. and wasting my time.
haha.
i ended up getting a liquid eyeliner in boring black (i was considering royal blue) oh well i think black is nice too.
it's so much easier to apply than maybelline's liquid liner too! some liquid definition or a name of some sort; the one that my aunt gave me last time.. completely cannot draw a straight line! no matter how skilled you are, the line will be shaky. unless you're really skilled. hmm.

i also bought a make-up remover thing that was on sale (Great Singapore Sale is here! :D) since i need one to remove the liquid eyeliner when i use it next time.

then i bought a floss from bread talk.. ate it as we walked to the carpark to drive to hilton hotel.
eating floss is not very significant, but you'll see why i mentioned it, later on.
arriving at hilton, we walked to the corner where the cakes were displayed. to be honest, there was nothing spectacular.
i couldn't find that perfect cake i was searching for. (again!) maybe i'm too fussy. XD
nevertheless, we ordered a slice of american cheesecake, as the person at counter said it was most popular. we ordered it to try as if we liked it we would buy it as my cake.
chose it also because the marble cake was fugly and i didn't want oreo cheesecake (it would be boring as i had one before!)
i saw this mushroom quiche that looked yummy.
we ended up ordering it. (not because i said i wanted it! i just said it looks nice then my mum ordered)

we sat down at the lounge and ate..
the cheesecake tasted of real cream cheese, had a very cheesy flavour to it, and was and extremely rich.
omg i was terribly bloated after eating it. (i had an entire floss before that, not to mention the suprisingly filling for the small amt of ja jeong myun i had)
i still ate the quiche, which luckily was fairly light.. made me feel better (dunno how to say, but like my intestines and insides of the body will feel nicer, compared to the super rich cheesecake)
i became soooo full.
i felt (quoted jolynn): "i don't need to eat dinner tonight"

anyway i was kind of bored and tired and well, full.
i was longing for home.
haha. sometimes, home's just the best.

we went home after that.
yay. seeing rgs on the route home, i felt i kind of miss going to school.

yay i feel so happy thinking that tomorrow i don't have to wake up early, don't have to go for can-get-boring-at-times-cca, that i only have to go for two hours of math tuition which is MUCH better than the FIRST TWO DAYS of my june holiday, which were spent getting up at 7.30 am! my holiday only starts tomorrow.

angklung can get sian, i dun like shaking the angklung for 10 + 15 + 20 + 25 counts and playing a part of the song again and again and again because we can't get it perfect.

and some rants of the holiday (not really a holiday cos of the heavy workload)
i have loads of hol hw + pts + catching up with school work (i got a seriously lousy grade, below average of the cohort and below the school's expectations; and i really need to buck up.)
i know i've done badly, and need to work hard and do something abt it, improve my knowledge of my works and thus improve my grades.
however i dun feel like getting started at all!
and, with such a short and busy holiday, i don't seem to have time to do all those school work! (a LOT of hw and PTs, and so much cca no time for revision!)

okay enough ranting for now.
i came across a quote yesterday: "we accept the love we think we deserve."
i agree with it n find it very true.
if you think you are worthy of a certain love someone gives you because of probably, certain traits you possess, then you will accept it and be happy.
but if you doubt or smt, then you won't accept it.
OK I'M TALKING CRAP, i don't know to phrase it luhhhh!!
but, if you think about it, it makes sense (:

um anyway, i'm busy organising events now!

i'm organising my bdae party dinner at 2a, thinking of what food to order.
thought of most of it already.
i still need to find my cake!
and i'm going out to celebrate on friday as well! :D
thinking of all the things we can do.
i want to go to the beach one day this june hols, i keep seeing on all the mags i read about going to the beach, blah blah blah, bikinis and all (not that i'm going to buy a bikini) but i wanna go to the beach.
i'm a serious lack of exercise, need to go out and get healthy haha. i think i'm one of the peeps among my peers who exercises least!

anyway that's all. i'm bored now. shall find ways to entertain myself. (:

hey!
i'm posting now! :D
haha that's quite obvious.
anyway, today.
went for angklung practice from 8am-1pm.
5 hours.
and another five tomorrow.
and nine on thursday!
haha..
ak prac was normal la..
didn't do anything SPECIAL.
well, we hardly ever do anyway. haha!
the pracs are still ok though (can get a bit sian though!)
i was very tired just now so i was falling asleep halfway through the practice.

after prac we went for batch lunch.. 3/4 of the batch went la.
we went to subway to eat..
some peeps didn't like subway so they bought kfc to eat..
and dabao into subway..
haha.
i ordered this turkey wrap thing and added bacon, made it into a set meal with two cookies and a drink.
the wrap was very nice esp with the bacon! :D cookies not bad but i think i ate too much. ice lemon tea super sweet but okay.
it cost $9.10 for the wrap, m&m + chocolate chip cookies and ice lemon tea.
after lunch we went to comb the entire far east plaza to find this place that prints hoodies (and tee shirts as well).
walao! it was crazy man.
we walked and walked and walked but to no avail, we didn't find the place.
in desperation, we split up into two groups of four and combed diff levels.
walked like siao lor!
i was freaking bloated from the big meal i had just now then still had to catch up with the rest running about here and there until i had a stitch.
then they went directory and all those stuff but still couldn't find it lor.
we copied down all the tailor shops and went around finding..
but all were SO NOT the right places lor.. haha.
they were all those tailor places..
told them but they didn't listen.
hehe i'm not complaining la, but it was kind of redundant.
had fun running about anyway despite my stitch. (:

we spent a lot of time searching but since we couldn't find the place, we gave up.
some left for home/ school, some went to eat.
me, jolynn and edith approached the information counter once again and found out that that shop had moved to orchard plaza!
so we were going home so jolynn and edith went mrt and i took bus back to school.. then walk back home lor.
i was super tired can! slept at 2 plus last night and had to get up at like, 7.30 this morning.
walked home..

walked home didn't do much lor.. on-ed the com but didn't use it.
read magazine on the sofa then went to my bed to read.
the afternoon sun shone on me and i felt drowsy..
so feeling tired, i hugged my pillow and closed my eyes (with the intention to rest).

um obviously resting led to falling asleep. (as always, this happened abt a zillion times already ;))
um then slept for maybe 2 hours and like woke up a bit but still sleeping u know that kind of feeling.
then i realised i had fallen asleep.
i was sticky and stuff la (what do you expect under the hot afternoon sun) but it felt quite good also. i guess i'm VERRRRY tired.

um then after that abt 7.30 went to bathe.
bathe finish then go out to blog! :DDDD

hello!
i woke up real early this morning, about seven!
slept at 12.30 last night.. i don't know how i got up so early. AUTOMATICALLY. XD
haha there's no one online now, i guess most of you are still sleeping!

UPDATES: Red Rain concert & stuff.

reached sc bus stop at 11.40.
saw hui qun and chen yan there and i joined them.
chen yan gave me my early birthday present. (:
haha then i was wondering where tessa was when they told me just now they saw some girls and stuff..
haha saw them coming towards us after that.
we met up and introduced ourselves to each other..
then walked to rtc bus stop to wait for the bus.
it was sweltering! haha.

the bus came and we boarded it to go to tessa's church at paya lebar..
cy and hui qun sat in the front while i sat with the rest at the back.
oh ya forgot to introduce. (:
we are: charlene, su hui, shermaine, tessa, me, cy and hui qun.
chatted randomly.
shermaine is ever so blur. (blurrer than me! :D)
she didn't remember me at first but i remembered her from 6se haha.
then she remembered my name after that.
haha.

we dared her to talk to the bus uncle so she went and talked.
haha then we eventually reached the bus stop so we got off.
went mrt first to meet some of tessa's church friends.
then we went to her church.
her church doesn't look like a church.
at least my pre-conceived idea of how a church looks like. haha.
i think of it as this chapel with glass painting stuff and lights at the ceiling and a slanting upwards roof. with a platform in the front and rows of benches for ppl to sit. you know, the kind you see on tv. haha.

we went to the church building to eat; went to eat macs..
i was broke with only $10 in my wallet so i bought the cheapest meal i could find..
which was some student meal that comprised of a fillet o fish, small fries and a drink (ice lemon tea).
we sat at a long table that could fit 10 of us. (amy, abigail and qiao hui joined us)
yup then ate and talked..
haha.
cracked some lame/ funny jokes.
abigail called tessa thick skin then tessa was so funny she didn't know what thick skin meant..
well then we camwhored a bit too..
then tessa was supposed to act manly..
so she went out of macs and back in three times.
haha.

after eating, seven of us went out to camwhore.

after that we went back to macs.. then went to queue to get in..
got in and went into a bubble lift.
haha it was cool!
then went to the place where the concert was held.
we received glowsticks that we wore as bangles..
sat down and waited for the concert to start.

the concert started at 3..
then tessa said we would have a suprise..
so me and hui qun were like what suprise..
they had a countdown thing before the concert started; i thought that once the countdown had finished, that'd be the time when the 'suprise' would happen.
turned out that the band appeared on stage after the countdown ended.
hmm.
we just listened to them sing and stuff.
haha.
hmm. we jumped a little (enthu mah!) and stood until our legs were tired.

then su hui so funny; she was covering her ears throughout the whole thing. shermaine too.

then they stopped and we sat down and they talked about christian stuff.
then they continued playing.
then the suprise thing came, many big and red round, balloon-like balls came bouncing around at the audience..

haha. the whole thing lasted for around 3 hours then we went home after that.
walked to the mrt with cy, hui qun and qiao hui.
then qiao hui went back to the church after walking us.
we took the same mrt..
it was super squashy! XD
i got off at some place (forgot where)
then got on the train opposite where i alighted, travelled for a stop only then they said please alight at the next stop as the train was going back to jurong east or something.
i got off a bit lost, went back and got off again.
then i waited for another train to come.
took that train all the way to orchard.
haha the 2nd and 3rd train i took was quite empty lor, a rare sight while taking mrts.
the air-con was quite cold :D due to less body heat, train being uncrowded.
it was so cool, cos u can sit anywhere u want..
haha.
i sat there until i reached some exchange train station then a lot of ppl came in..
haha.
it became crowded again.
got off at orchard mrt and figured how to go wisma all by myself! (okay that wasn't that tough)
haha. nevertheless, i felt proud of myself.

met family at forever21..
nowadays all the shops seem to have something nice!
it's like wherever i go there will be a lot of nice stuff lor! :D
i wanna go proper shopping one day..
haha.

we didn't get to walk much, went taka for dinner since i was hungry.
dad said he would treat me to my bdae dinner since he was going to be overseas on my bdae..
i said i could just have normal chinese food dun nid something expensive.
we went to crystal jade palace something(can't rmb the full name) in the end.
we were led to this quaint little corner of the restaurant.
it was so nice! (:
it looked pretty luxurious and it was like a cosy, secluded corner from the rest of the restaurant.
like our private dining area.
haha the lights were bright and pretty too, and had somewhat oriental decor.

asked for the menu, and we ordered roast goose (very nice), soup, sea bass, asparagus, rice with scallops, prawns and fish (brocolli inclusive), some beancurd thing which i didn't really eat, and one or two other dishes (seriously can't remember ;)).
i ate until so full!

went back to wisma and walked around briefly.
bought famous amos (sp?) cookies; i bought double choc chip chewy and sis bought 100g no nut choc chip the normal small kind and i took a couple from her.
realised famous amos is damn sweet!
i am still in love with subway cookies the most (:

went to try on shoes for fun.
this shop, called pazzion i think, their shoes are damn cute and chio. (:
haha the shoes are so nice (and quite affordable).. i might buy one day when i go proper shopping.

i couldn't look for too long as we had to go home..
another day, wisma. (:

going home had it's advantages as well la, such as being able to upload pics + blog + rest.
gosh i'm getting tired now.
