hello!
i went for ak prac today..
and i'm still thinking of a suitable name for my batch hoodie! hehe, anyone care to help me think? (any nice, prefebly witty or just nice, name with 'lim' inside; eg. limousino/ lima bean/ whatever la! :D)
fyi, those 3 above are not counted as very nice. whatever la does not even fit the category.
i wish i could just pick any nice word as my name to be written on the hoodie, like juicy couture or princess or royalty or juiciness or some nice word :D :D.
there isn't anything nice with the word 'lim' inside. except for amanda lim, but of course. XD
stop showing me the -.- face hahaha.

after ak prac my mum came to pick me.
we went for lunch at taka.
i listened to my iPod, feeling deprived for not listening so long! :D
my pretty pink earphones, remember! :D they stand out against my navy pinafore!
i wore it and caught several furtive glances from ppl at taka upon entering the food level after taking the escalator..
i'm being ego!
nvm, i feel so dumb saying this.

we went to the food court and i remembered i wanted to eat ja jeong myun last time (cos i saw it on witch yoo hee last time and they made it sound very nice), didn't get to try it last time as by the time i saw it i had already ordered noodles from another stall.
i proceeded to order the noodles, thinking, yay, i can finally eat it! :D

then, the noodles turned out to be not nice at all!
it cost eight bucks but tasted horrid (somewhat like japanese curry? not that japanese curry is horrid, but it looked and tasted low quality.)
i ate half then didn't feel like eating anymore.
such a disappointment,
at least now i know and will never eat ja jeong myun again.
maybe i will if i really really go to korea and find out whether the singaporean korean food shoppe was scamming us.

after my meal, i went to watsons to briefly see the stuff there. like to just look around for fun, you know.
i ended up spending ages there.
i'm the kind who can waste time at one shop looking at things and deciding for the longest time ever.. haha.
i bought a concealer and a black head remover stick in the end.
the black head remover stick claims to be able to rub out the black heads of the pores, after cleansing your face, you rub the stick over your nose then they will come out. and you wipe away the black heads with tissue paper. i hope it works.

after finally exiting watsons after spending such a long time in there, now i don't even know why i bothered to stay there for so long, i got distracted again, by other shops along the way.
anyway i went into this shop that sold cameras and memory cards and ipods and random electronic stuff, and maybe a printer. u know the fujifilm photo printer stuff that prints 4R glossy photos when you insert your thumbdrive inside. it was a small shop. that isn't the point anyway.
thing is, i bought a new XD card for my camera, a 2GB one at that.
my current 1GB (i think) has very little memory space and i always have to keep deleting photos constantly.
AND, i'm the kind who cannot bear to delete photos, cos good moments the pics remind me of.. hehe. so i dun really like deleting and try not to delete as much as i can, thus allowing me very limited space for taking more photos!

okay, i said a little too much; the point is, i bought a new memory card! i'll have more space for photos now.
it was suprisingly quite cheap also, price ranging from $65 for 2GB card and $45 for a one GB one. haha, i don't really know the prices of these kinda stuff, so that's what i think.

then, we went to see the cakes available at taka.
ahem, that was the MAIN POINT actually, as i need to source for a birthday cake for my party on saturday.
as you can see, (from going in to the diff shops and all), i get distracted very easily.

well, we couldn't really find any nice cakes; mum suggested going to hilton hotel since some ppl said that their cakes were good.
however, being distracted as i was, i asked to walk to wisma since wisma and taka are just next to each other. (oh, i saw lois at taka outside the XD card shop! i heard, "amanda!" then turned around and saw her in her nygh uniform at the edge of the escalator. said hi back. (: i think she did something to her hair again! XD)

upon arriving wisma, i went into nine west to see see and saw this SUPERDEDOOPER cute bright yellow clutch! it's so pretty! exceptionally pretty esp when contrasted with my pinafore. again. :D
mummy offered to buy it for me, but as i knew i want a lot of other stuff (and will most probably be buying and spending a lot of money for my bdae), i said nvm la, as it's just another bag and there are ton of other nice bags i will see and want in the future.. so buying now is a waste of money! (cost $105 so it's not the kind i will just buy and still buy another bag in the future, not like $20/ $30 stuff!)
just about everything is nice to me! haha.

oh ya i saw the brilliant coloured shoes there and got reminded that i like brilliant bright colours; i adore pink, green, yellow, blue, orange and ROYAL BLUE. haha, many colours. :D
briefly walked around, went to sasa and spent quite a bit of time there, looking around and, erm, being indecisive. and wasting my time.
haha.
i ended up getting a liquid eyeliner in boring black (i was considering royal blue) oh well i think black is nice too.
it's so much easier to apply than maybelline's liquid liner too! some liquid definition or a name of some sort; the one that my aunt gave me last time.. completely cannot draw a straight line! no matter how skilled you are, the line will be shaky. unless you're really skilled. hmm.

i also bought a make-up remover thing that was on sale (Great Singapore Sale is here! :D) since i need one to remove the liquid eyeliner when i use it next time.

then i bought a floss from bread talk.. ate it as we walked to the carpark to drive to hilton hotel.
eating floss is not very significant, but you'll see why i mentioned it, later on.
arriving at hilton, we walked to the corner where the cakes were displayed. to be honest, there was nothing spectacular.
i couldn't find that perfect cake i was searching for. (again!) maybe i'm too fussy. XD
nevertheless, we ordered a slice of american cheesecake, as the person at counter said it was most popular. we ordered it to try as if we liked it we would buy it as my cake.
chose it also because the marble cake was fugly and i didn't want oreo cheesecake (it would be boring as i had one before!)
i saw this mushroom quiche that looked yummy.
we ended up ordering it. (not because i said i wanted it! i just said it looks nice then my mum ordered)

we sat down at the lounge and ate..
the cheesecake tasted of real cream cheese, had a very cheesy flavour to it, and was and extremely rich.
omg i was terribly bloated after eating it. (i had an entire floss before that, not to mention the suprisingly filling for the small amt of ja jeong myun i had)
i still ate the quiche, which luckily was fairly light.. made me feel better (dunno how to say, but like my intestines and insides of the body will feel nicer, compared to the super rich cheesecake)
i became soooo full.
i felt (quoted jolynn): "i don't need to eat dinner tonight"

anyway i was kind of bored and tired and well, full.
i was longing for home.
haha. sometimes, home's just the best.

we went home after that.
yay. seeing rgs on the route home, i felt i kind of miss going to school.
my holiday is so busy.

yay i feel so happy thinking that tomorrow i don't have to wake up early, don't have to go for can-get-boring-at-times-cca, that i only have to go for two hours of math tuition which is MUCH better than the FIRST TWO DAYS of my june holiday, which were spent getting up at 7.30 am! my holiday only starts tomorrow.

angklung can get sian, i dun like shaking the angklung for 10 + 15 + 20 + 25 counts and playing a part of the song again and again and again because we can't get it perfect.

and some rants of the holiday (not really a holiday cos of the heavy workload)
i have loads of hol hw + pts + catching up with school work (i got a seriously lousy grade, below average of the cohort and below the school's expectations; and i really need to buck up.)
i know i've done badly, and need to work hard and do something abt it, improve my knowledge of my works and thus improve my grades.
however i dun feel like getting started at all!
and, with such a short and busy holiday, i don't seem to have time to do all those school work! (a LOT of hw and PTs, and so much cca no time for revision!)

okay enough ranting for now.
i came across a quote yesterday: "we accept the love we think we deserve."
i agree with it n find it very true.
if you think you are worthy of a certain love someone gives you because of probably, certain traits you possess, then you will accept it and be happy.
but if you doubt or smt, then you won't accept it.
OK I'M TALKING CRAP, i don't know to phrase it luhhhh!!
but, if you think about it, it makes sense (:

um anyway, i'm busy organising events now!

i'm organising my bdae party dinner at 2a, thinking of what food to order.
thought of most of it already.
i still need to find my cake!
and i'm going out to celebrate on friday as well! :D
thinking of all the things we can do.
i want to go to the beach one day this june hols, i keep seeing on all the mags i read about going to the beach, blah blah blah, bikinis and all (not that i'm going to buy a bikini) but i wanna go to the beach.
i'm a serious lack of exercise, need to go out and get healthy haha. i think i'm one of the peeps among my peers who exercises least!

anyway that's all. i'm bored now. shall find ways to entertain myself. (:
