Kbox today was superbly fun!

haha. ok brief summary of school (quite sucky at certain parts..)
went to school as normal and had the ra talk at the ks chee (quite boring and impossible for me) then we went to our classrooms and cleaned and cleaned and cleaned..
my rag got seriously dirty and gross.. but i still washed it with soap and brought it home, just in case it is still usable (that is with many times of washing time and again).

anyway, the talk was still all right, because we weren't really listening and just chatted and chatted ever so randomly..
Raffles Acedamy is so impossible for me, the standards are super high, 4.0 GPA for the subject and 3.6 overall GPA! do you know how hard that is?
(VERY!)

haha, i would never dream of getting into it, i also don't have any goals or high expectations of myself in terms of acedamics, and even if i manage to somehow, get a GPA of 4.0 for some subject, (which is highly impossible), i will still be stuck with my pathetic GPA of a mere 3.

haha what am i writing this for, i didn't even think of/ want to get in to RA ever before so it doesn't matter to me.

i noe the first part is very boring..

the cleaning up of classroom was sucky so i won't bother elaborating.

we were finally released at 11 something and chionged to the bus stop to catch 190 to the bus stop outside heeren. walked to cine (i led the way! :D) and ate lunch at some japanese place there. i had a pizza noodle thing and a miso soup. the pizza noodle thing was super salty and with many flakes of the brown thin paper-like japanese flakes. (i forgot the name :P)

then after that we went to grab subway cookies (sher meen had oatmeal, i had double choc. chip and kay yi and chen yan had chocolatechip).
ate and walked to the kbox counter to enquire about the hours and rates and all.
apparently, they said that time (around 12 something) was the klunch hours and we would have to pay $10++ extra, for some japanese bento thing (compulsory and they only had the k lunch available). yeah, we decided to go later at 2 when we didn't need to order the lunch set as we were very full.
went to change into our dresses/ tops and skirts out of our school u! haha the dresscode was dress/ skirts if dun have dress

so off we went to walk around! went to minitoons (again) and i bought this cute japanese bento eraser set that was quite big and only cost 80 cents! such a brilliant find right! :D

thenthen, we decided to take neoprints! initially ke and sher didn't want to take (for dunno wat reason), but after we got changed ke suddenly wanted to take so we went to check the booths out. and we decided to take, luckily. ((:
it's my first time taking neoprints with them okay! after knowing them for, about a year?
anyway we took twice in different booths. the first booth cost $11 and i had taken in that booth before (a significant number of times actually). haha. i like that booth but today's pics didn't turn out very successful.. haha. then we went to cut out and distribute the neoprints after we got them decorated and printed. then we felt like taking another time again haha. so we tried a different booth, which we thought of as pretty cool as it had this metal place where you stand and it would lift you up.. and some fan that will blow your hair as well. haha. the lifting up thing didn't end up THAT great lah, it wasn't as fun as i had expected but it was still ok. (: it was very squashy though, and i could hardly feel any wind at all. it didn't give me the model-ly blow hair effect. haha.

well the second times prints turned out all right too, although the decorations were very limited and not as nice as the first and all, but our poses were not so candid. haha. i look quite spas in half of the photos. :P

we spent a great deal of time on the neoprints, which was good because we could waste away the time we had from 12.30 -2. when it was around 1.30 or later, we decided to go back to kbox to try again. this time was successful! :D

we registered and got a room at the eighth level (room 50).
haha it was super super fun! esp the singing like crazy part! XD
they served us small bowls of mixed nuts and took our orders for the drinks we wanted..
i chose watermelon, sher and ke decided on lime juice and cy ordered a cranberry drink.
then we had a bit of difficulty choosing the songs and stuff. cos it was their first time and i only had one time of experience and i forgot how to choose.
so we asked the kbox ppl to help, and finally learnt how to! haha.

and then we practically went crazy.
haha. especially chen yan. omg then high.
at first not very used to it and i couldn't hear my voice when i was singing, because my voice was overpowered by cy's extremely strong voice.. haha.
i kept testing the mike saying, "hello?" into the mike abt 12783 times throughout the whole session, i think. haha.
we sang a lot a lot of songs.. kept alternating the mike cos there were only two mikes but four of us.
oh and i wanted sing jj songs so me and cy kept picking many many jj songs.
omg! from the cao cao album i sang.. cos that's abt the only songs i know.. other than mu nai yi and bian hao 89757 and yi qian nian yi hou.
it was so nostalgic.. (:
it reminded me of my p6 days haha..
then i got to solo some parts! (: very happy because i could remember the lyrics and tune very well and i could hear my own voice without getting overshadowed by someone else's! :DD
(i know they show the lyrics but my chinese is too lousy to read the lyrics fast enough and some of the chinese characters are too cheem/ in fan ti zi so i dunno how to read)

yay sang and sang. english songs were very hard to sing because i forgot the tune by the time it was playing. and the ugly mvs sure did play a part in making the whole thing less nice (they used some boring, ugly random videos cos they didn't have the original singer's mv). i could only remember the chorus of the songs, you see! :D

i felt like having all the time in the world to sing all the songs we wanted non-stop forever.
we continued singing (and camwhoring, i persuaded them to camwhore more they became more enthu automatically upon entering the room) until 5.30.
then it was time to leave!
settled the bill (guess what, it was stated $13++, but we ended up paying $20.60 each!) pretty pricey ahhh?
but anyway, we had fun and that made it worth it! :D
and it's once in a while so its okay to splurge!
anyway i forgot to add that we had a second round of drinks, inclusive in the package.
oh and they forced us to buy their drinks and titbits so they can earn more money!

left cine and we all walked to heeren to either catch a bus or something. my mum picked me up and off i went back home! uploaded the photos and blogged a bit, then ate dinner and went for tuition. came back and continued my post. ;)

i sort of broke my diet, eating all the sweet stuff today (honey weet bix for b'fast, the super unhealthy msg laden noodles for lunch, subway cookie! and 2 glasses of watermelon juice which they presumably added sugar in), but i shall start again tomorrow! :D
