Happy youth day! :D

omg soooo sorry! haven't been posting for a long time! :P

haha.
anyway..

let's start from yesterday.
i slept till 3.10 pm.
which means i slept for about 12 hours.
i kept waking up constantly througtout the night though.
didn't have a good sleep last night either.

haha, today is youth day!
happy youth day to all youths like us!
no school today~
and tomorrow is be yourself day!
haha so exciting to see everyone wear diff stuff. XD

it turns out that i'm not going for Superband tonight, because they ran out of sitting tickets!
and F.I.R. is gracing the occasion tonight ok!
but there were only the standing tickets left and i didn't want to stand and jump about crazy since there's school tomorrow so i guess i might go next time..
haha.

Friday

We went to the National Art Museum on friday!
saw the fashion cluster girls in the art room when we assembled there.
fashion cluster is cool!
anyway, we took a bus there and all..
this photographer, Alain Fleischer's works were really good.
this chinese guy whom i forgot the name of had really good paintings too.
pfpf.
but there were some others that were not that awe-inspiring either and led me to thinking why they were even put in the museum in the first place.
maybe to show the contrast between different artists, i guess.
after all, art is a debatable subject based on each individual's own opinion.

okok, assembly was the second speech the head prefect '09 candidates gave.
haha, the questions asked during the Q&A round were really mind battling.
but they managed to answer them fairly well.
i still don't know who to vote.

stayed back for math remedial after school. -.-
i was in group 2 so i was made to wait and wait and wait and wait doing nothing for damn long and made to stay back for a longer time than group 1 for no rhyme or reason, since i didn't do more sums but was just made to wait while group 1 did their qns.
anyway, went to the car park to meet mum and went to taka after that.
not ending remedial punctually made her have to wait for 20 minutes or so.

went taka, shopped, ate, blah.
didn't do much but hey, i bought some stuff!
i finally bought my new toothbrush and toothpaste from watsons happy happy happy~ that's cos i needed a new toothbrush real badly, and there was never time to go buy it.

ll time cute shimmer puff that already comes with glitter inside the puff. just press onto skin for instant sparkle. haha this puff was pretty cute and not too ex and i saw it on URBAN the day before so i just decided to buy it for fun. anyone can do with some glitter! (:

Saturday

my sister's birthday!
okay, now i'm no longer '2 years older than her'.

anyway i wasted half the day away, well, i was sitting at home waiting for them (my mother and sister) to come back from shopping for her stuff because they told me that they would be back sometime around 12 pm and we would go out for lunch then go to queensway to buy her shoes and i can look around too blah blah blah.
in the end..
i waited like a fool until 4 something when they came back and said we weren't going anywhere, nor had i eaten my lunch since the last installment of my breakfast of nasi lemak at 11.

anyway at least i got to watch huan huan ai! :D on tv and do some exercise to burn off my gross fats which didn't work immediately but anyway;

i was starving at 6 plus in the car, on our way to collect the crabs and mantous and crispy duck and whatnot we had ordered.
so i was complaining and making sure i got my point known (it was their fault) hehe :P
somemore when i got scolded before that! that was for a different reason but still i was so poor thing for the entire day already la.

okay, then we collected the food and went to 2a..
said hi to everyone there.
went to find aerin.
waited in her room doing e usual stuff..

OKAY, that day was a super unphotogenic day where i looked veh the unglam in almost all the photos; however, here are some of the better ones.

back to reality:
we camwhored while they played miniclip.
then we went to cut cake..
then me and shen-nen's turn to try to borrow a computer haha.
lol..
anyway it was pretty boring, we should have played games.

oh yeah, when we were downstairs, we roasted marshmallows, ate island creamery (tried nutella, cookies and cream, burnt caramel and chocolate that tasted like durian cos it was sort of contamintated ;)

koped my dad's SLR and went around snapping ppl ;)
he also went around taking a lot of candid pictures that night.
i think candid pictures are so fun.
esp when u look back next time and go, hey! this is funny! (:

ate the bdae cake which was damn sweeeeett. like, DAMN SWEET.
haha.
it was made without any flour and instead, replaced with almonds.
anyway it was freaking sweet, the chocolate outside was sweet, the almond cake part was sweet, everything was too sweet and i was already bloated with ice-cream and marshmallows that i ate before that (so sinful, i felt that my exercise in the afternoon would be wasted after all those) that i couldn't eat any more after a mouthful.

i think the downstairs part was most fun. (:
or rather, the time we spent at the garden eating and making merry and where everyone was, was most fun.
i'm too lazy to structure my sentences lahh..

went home and slept at three.

Sunday
haha. told u already, i woke up damn late.
one of the latest i've woken up in my whole life.
i wake up pretty early normally la.. ;)
oh anyway, yesterday was interesting!
actually only the night part.

wasted four hours crapping in my room from when i woke up until 7.
then my family said we were going out for dinner so i had to hurry up change..
went for a quick shower as we were rushing but i needed to bathe.
so after the quickest shower ever, i pulled on my black soft woolly reindeer t-shirt and navy FBTs.
brushed my hair, brought along my cardigan (i was starting to feel cold) and threw my new :D tote over my shoulder and i was ready to go.
then my dad wasn't.
he went to bathe.
haha.
how anti-climax.
ohwell..
i was was asked by my mum and sis twice, why was i wearing my fbts.
then i replied, cuz i'm too lazy to change and these are the most comfortable, which was the truth.
haha, i was super exhausted (even after sleeping for 12 hours straight) and was going into some sort of hibernation mode.
aiya, so what if i slept for 12 hours, i kept waking up a dozen times i didn't even get a gd sleep.
anyway, all i wanted to do was: SLEEP SLEEP SLEEP
so i went to my room and took my lovely pillow (the small one) and brought it with me.
it was with me in:
the living room
the car
the restaurant
the lounge (common sense since we sat there after dinner)
the road
the supermarket
and back in the car and at home (:

i love my pillow!
it's there for me at times when i need rest and comfort.
it's soft and cuddly and provides support!
haha.

oh anyway, back to the living room.
i hugged it, felt bo chap (not the bad way, the can't be bothered with the world just sleep way).
plugged in my iPod and went to sleep while waiting for my dad to get ready.
hugged it and slept in the car.
so nice (:
*goes off to dreamy mood*
oh anyway, for some serious stuff :D

we had dinner at Desire, a restaurant at The Scarlet, a boutique hotel.
the restaurant was completely empty, so it was as if we had booked the entire place for ourselves! so cool~
anyway, there were like, three waiters serving four of us haha.
zomg, the food was EX.
the menu had some seductive theme or something, cos the appetizer was Foreplay (sounds wrong), entree was Main Affair and desserts was Love Bites.
haha anyway i'll tell u how ex it is.
the appetizer ranges from $16-$32, entree $40-$78 and dessert $16-$22 or something like that, if i didn't remember wrongly.
i was like siao so ex, i eat one appetizer dun eat anything else can already.
i ordered a squid ink pasta with lobster that had a name for the dish but i forogt what it was already.
my sister ordered the same.
mummy had some truffle pasta thing (truffle is this expensive mushroom thing that grows underground)
dad had pork (which was very nice btw)..
oo i took photos, but using my mum's cam (which she hardly uses) as it was the only camera available as i didn't bring mine.
i think i'm most used to using my own camera (:
yay i <3 my camera.. so sentimental.
anyway, i'd love to put the pics here but i haven't uploaded them!
we waited damn long for the food to come but it was really pretty when served.
it had the drizzle of olive oil and another orange coloured oil that looked kind of artistic.
u know that kind of chefs..
reminds me of moo ryong in witch yoo hee! haha.
oh and before the food came, we were served buns with butter.
the buns were really really nice lor!
you could choose between onion or olive, or both.
i took onion cuz it smelled reaaal good.
daddy took both haha he took olive at first so i could try it too but i think he thought onion smelled to good to miss so he requested for one in the end.
neways, both the buns tasted fantabulous.
they were warm, soft, moist, and were a little salty so it was more flavourful, unlike those plain buns that are so tasteless.
and the onion smelled really nice. best thing was, it tasted as good as it smelled! not like food that smells better than it tastes most of the time.
at first i wanted to leave the bun and save my appetite for the main course (which was taking ages to come) but i ended up eating my whole bun and a third of the olive one because they were just too good! :D
ok, enough of this.

our food finally came.
i took pictures before eating.
many at that, because i wasn't used to that camera and when i was trying to focus it kept snapping right away so i didn't get the shots that i wanted and they were grainy and blur and the composition didn't look good.
but looking back later, they didn't look so bad after all. (sry for talking so much!)
the squid ink pasta was nice!
i totally love squid ink pasta.
i thought of adding it to my list of favourtite food.
i like the kind whereby, the pasta is actually black and squid ink, not plain pasta with squid ink sauce.
ohwell.
the serving of lobster was generous, thank goodness, looking at the price.
at first the loose bits of lobster were VERY nice so i thought wow so much nice lobster to eat; then it turned out that only that miniscule portion was nice and the two big chunks of lobster embedded in their shells were super chewy - i chewed until my neck ached.
yeah.
and they gave two pincers too! :D which tasted a bit like crab pincers.
i decided that they belong to the same family, lobsters and crabs.

we shared a hazelnut cake thing for dessert.
it was super chocolatey and rich.

the berries on top were funny.
nvm u dun get it.

my sister had a craving for yoghurt after dinner.
so we drove to the supermarket at serene centre.
i was happy as i didn't feel like going home yet..
i brought my pillow again, i know it sounds ridiculous.
we only stayed for a short while then went home after that.
i bought ski berry yoghurt.
the label said it cost $1.65 and since two cups were joined together, i thought both of them cost $1.65 in total, but it ended up $3.30 because ONE CUP was $1.65.
cheat my feelings!
write there $1.65 then dun join the cups together la.
it doesn't matter anyway, i'm too bored tt's why i'm making such a fuss.

i totally love that show now!

i slept a bit earlier last night at 12 plus.
was feeling restless, couldn't sleep, had a song stuck in my head.
i tried to calm my brain down, and half succeeded.
went to sleep eventually, dreamt again.
i dream like everyday can ;)
had a bad sleep and woke up this morning (which was a suprisingly early nine something) having neck and back ache.
argh.
sometimes you just can't find a good sleeping position, why?
dreamt that we changed seats, except that i was originally sitting beside sher meen when we had to change. can't remember most of it by now. haha.
my dreams are always far-fetched and unrealistic and definitely not close to reality. haha okay anyway,

bon appetit! yeahyeah random but i need to eat my lunch now.
