today was brilliant! :D
i'm starting to like school again (quite).

hahaha anw..
i had to go for NDP rehersal today!
because photog was cancelled!
HAHAHA, how ironic!

oh so anyway i was rushing off after RS (clearing up the apparatus and all that) to anderson to give the plane form and money to the teacher, then went back up to the magic lab and found out that there was no photog today!
i was like zomgzz la so i messaged sher meen cos i needed to tell someone! lol..
haha and i bumped into aarthi twice also, first time near the pavilion there, then made one big round and bumped into her near the stairs again! LOL.

haha anyway rushing around wasn't too bad; i went to the hall, met jolynn and we went to the ak room to get my angklungs. haha then we slacked there coz didn't feel like going (sian lor!) and ate my potato chips.
haha luckily there were quite a lot of angklungs as many ppl ponned today!
really lor.. A LOT of ppl ponned today, about only a quarter came?
hehe yeah then they were doing note check so we finally went to outside the hall to join them..

yep and i found out that they were having selection trials.. which meant we might not get it!
haha but anyway i think we got in in the end.
:D

we went into the hall after a really terrible practice and watched the dancers for a while.
then it was our turn.
uh, it was better than outside lah, li khee said it was great but some didn't agree.
well i thought it was better than outside so still can lah. considering the NO. OF PPL WE HAD.

yeah then the teachers said okay so we went for water break - yay! :D
went to the canteen and i bought chocolate milk (i'm drinking a lot of that nowadays, and i finish it up v fast too) and pola snack, cuz there wasn't anything else i felt like eating; i didn't feel much like pola snack either actually.

sat and chatted with seniors about OBS!
they were scaring us lor, lol.
but anyway i think i'll go lar.
even if it's a bad experience, still experience it or you'll regret not having gone..
i am going to put a whole blob of sun lotion on my face too, don't wanna peel please!
oh and i dun mind getting tan~~

think i'll regain my fairness pretty soon anyway.

oh anyway it was pretty fun learning about OBS and getting scared and all hahah.
OBS sounds such a hard life.
ruo xi wonders how i'm going to survive.
i wonder too.
i must partner someone who is calm composed, and not blur or irresponsible.. (like me :P)

oh anyways it was fun la fun fun fun i love angklung <3.

okay i shall tell you about this morning then. morning assembly!~~ saw hui qun, huey fang and vera at the foyer.. huey fang was carrying vera's bag and some stuff.. yep then went to the parade sq and walked back to class.

we had contact time and ICT.
half the computers were burnt because of something that happened last day.
something like the coms were smoking?
ohwell.

so we didn't do anything.
ICT was pretty crappy.
haha but it was okayy lar.
okay.
yeah then went for pe.
played another game of bball today.
didn't play the actual game but we played captain's ball. oh and we practised passing the balls in pairs using the different throws.
i found it really useful and with practice, i improved and got more used to it. chest pass, bounce pass, overhead throw. yin xin was a good partner ((: oh but the first few times i got smacked in the chest heheh. oh and i remember last year when iliana accidentally hit my face twice hahahaXD

the game was good, okay not good but it was okay i guess.
yeah then had recess lor.
had appetite!
yep.

went back to class and had lit.
aarthi, iliana, jean and some others recited their quotes.
they were all really good!
haha and lit was quite okay la, had some of our presentations too..
yeah i kind of like lit..

went to the lab for science, again.
did paper chromatography today!
i like paper chromatography because the colours are so pretty! (:
and i didn't know that black ink was actually made of so many bright and pretty colours mixed together.
there's bright blue, red, light brown and some purplish pinkish colour..

i did my own experiment with my dark blue zig too and the colours were damn nice :D
oh yeah cyan is found in all the colours i tested!
so cool i finally get the printing thing about how cyan, magenta, the yellow and black can make up all the colours when mixed together.
omg tres cool :D

happy happy~
but i threw them away in the end.
i was super HIGHHH today.
esp during science.
haha.
i was very fascinated by the be-yoo-ti-ful blue zig pen paper chromatography it was soooo sooo pretty! :D

talked about drama serials to huey fang!
i love hk drama serials and after today, i realised after all these years of watching, i've watched about 150 - 200 already?

i've only watched one full serial of korean drama and taiwan drama respectively. the taiwan one i'm still watching.
watched a lot of hk drama serials though!

oh yeah then went for lunch..
it was when the blackout happened!
it was weird without any light..
the canteen was in a state of complete darkness for the first time.
well, as in you could still see but it looked very dull and unusual.

didn't feel very enthu about food so i just bought a nutty cheese bread, which was like the only bread left.
i bought potato chips also.
sat at the bench at the entrace of the canteen today.

went to the art room with sher to collect our clays!
mine is light purple, not the dark purple i'd expected.
but it's quite nice luh i guess, looks okay.
different from what i expected..

went back to class, still in darkness.
CLE started.
miss wani asked us to write stuff abt us on a piece of paper and hand it in to her.
haha, she's been with us for fairly long alr, i thought?

yeah then we continued..
and the lights came back pretty soon.
yeah so done.
discussed our SL projects (well, not really for our group) and got to know our new seating positions.

first time doing.. i hadn't a clue to what we were doing initially but i sort of remembered and got the hang of it i guess..?
yep it was quite fun lah, i was still HIGHHH heheheh.

oh but the washing of the apparatus was so troublesome and time consuming.
i felt lazy to wash lor.
but no choice..
just guai guai de wash..
oh then there was once when i had rinsed the glass thing (forgot what it's called) THREE times, with water, very clean, drained it, rinsed again with alkaline, poured alkaline in it till exactly the 0 mark, placed it on the retort stand, and then what i'd to do?
pour everything away and rinse it ALL OVER AGAIN.
i was like ?!?!!?!?!!
haha complained to sher and cy.
very complainy meh.. (;

oh we had to rinse the stuff again because we made a new diluted solution of sodium hydroxide.
NaOH! see i know :D
haha okay.. -.-
oh and the second time we tested it was more successful (:
the H20 (drink) turned pink..
hehe so fun :D
oh and the pH indicator that we added 3 drops into the drink had a very strong smell, familiar too;

okay then i was rushing, or at least i was because i thought i had to.
cleared the table, rinsed the apparatus, labelled our alkaline solutions, put the drinks back into the fridge and all..
went to give the form.. and you know the story after that! :D

okay anyway i'm feeling very happy somehow today was a pretty great day lah, considering some of the less than great days recently.
ohwell yay okay i shall bathe and do my hw now, bye!
