A visit to the Dentist's!

yep, that's the most uh, mentionable thing that happened in my life today.
haha.
anyway shan't elaborate too much since i needa sleep soon (remember my new early night beauty sleep routine!)

anyway, we went to a new dentist this time. cos the one we go to normally is semi-retired..
so anyway, i checked my teeth first, because my sister would have prolly taken longer; i think she did.
the dentist cleaned my teeth and polished them and whatnot and put sealants, and it was certainly not the most pleasant experience okay!
i didn't have cavities or anything but anyway, i had to have sealants for some reason.
oh-kayy.
anyway he kept spraying some SUPER salty thing that was sort of unbearable and weird tasting that made my tongue and lips and gums salty and painful and numb-ish.
oh well. and the thing that kept spraying in my mouth, made my mouth sooo dry.
my tongue, normally salivated (all right it sounds gross), was d-r-y.
can u believe that?
like, a moist tongue turning into one w/o any wetness at all?
oh and it was painful too the polishing and cleaning!
and he stuck some thing at my mouth i felt choked and almost felt like pushing the thing away with my hand (to save my life) but i practised self-control and told myself to bear with it.. i breathed deeply using my nose and told myself i would survive (not jk hor, i seriously thought i might become breathless!!)

the sealants tasted very bitter and my teeth felt funny when i bit, but the taste weared off after a while.
while waiting for my sis to check her teeth, i sat outside and tried to read an old magazine. (okay, bought yesterday but i've read it alr!)
and there was no point reading the same thing that you've read yesterday, i will get bored and not feel like reading any further as i'm not the kind who can read a book 10 times without getting bored.
i don't even finish a book fully for once lah. out of the point anyway..

went to 7 eleven and stood there for quite a long time browsing through a magazine. but i didn't buy it. i bought CLEO instead.
also picked up 2 SOYfruit bars. it has a name but i forgot already.. 2 for $3.50.
bought raisin&almond and apple.
then i bought a cream bun too.
yes, stop staring! i know i was supposed to go on a 'diet' sort of thing..
but the sealants were so horrible tasting that i needed something to pacify myself.
haha.
oh anyway i ate them all..
*guilty look*
while reading cleo!
then i wasn't bored anymore, neither was i hungry.
psssst, i craved for a milkshake while i was choosing the food just now but..
i didn't have it..
so good right :D

okay nvm so i waited and read the mag until my mum and sis came out..
i was suprised i could dahan so long without feeling bored or anything!
haha.

yeah and then we paid the bill.
guess how much it was?

it was freaking $727 for mine!!
it was over $1000 for my sis wth so ex lor!
i thought it would cost about $100 or sth only.. -.-
my teeth got x-rayed too.
and the sealants costed $60/70 each.
i'm like eating money in my mouth now.

anywayyyy, i might be putting braces!
to straighten my teeth and for fun also lar~
haha.
the dentist said it's more of a want than a need for me, as my teeth are straight enough not to put braces, but it's all right if i want to straighten them more.

yeah but i dunno lar.
anyway, that's all.
i didn't know just one casual visit (with just the extra sealants) would cost that much. -.-
waste money.
