today's notables:

we got back our science investigative projects and SPA marks! :D
contrary to the other day (history and english), the grades were pretty satisfactory :D
yay i love science pts! (:

the peanut butter cream chocolate muffin was damn nice omg! :D
with chocolate rice too. that kept dropping out.

anyways
the security guard uncle gave us to eat because one of the teacher's first month/ 1 year old baby then got cakes!

litmugfest; we stayed in school until 8pm! omg! first time i've stayed so late in school..
haha okay lar there were concerts and camp. but it's the latest i've stayed to study!
whee it was super fun, i'm going to miss it when exams are over. actually i think there were only two sessions and there won't be any more. ):

omgg ahhahahahah the funniest thing ever happened okay.
okay maybe i was high, or too stressed to the extent that i went on an uncontrollable laughing period! ahahahahaha (:
oh man.
kay this was what happened: was talking to vicky and aarthi while waiting for ms tay.
then talking talking aarthi was talking abt mr ummm.. i'm not going to mention names in case he reads, i don't know how but just in case.
anyway we were talking abt ____ when he suddenly appeared walking toward us so i was like, "speak of the devil!"
then as he was walking aarthi said, "look at his bag."
and omg, u cannot imagine how freaking hilarious it was i burst out laughing like shit and continued laughing for the next 10 minutes. with intervals, of course. but i just couldn't stop laughing.

then i went back to our bench where ivana and ms tay were sitting and i was laughing uncontrollably and so Ivana got 'infected' too and we laughed and laughed and laughed for what seemed the longest time until we calmed down and stopped.
ms tay's a real sport too, she didn't like some teachers ask us to stop laughing.
she just sat there staring at us, not knowing what was so funny..

then backtrack a bit okay.
after i just started laughing, i was laughing too hard that i couldn't even speak properly.
so i tried telling ivana what i was laughing about coz she was oblivious at first.
so as verbal communication wasn't working at tht moment, i scribbled on the paper in pencil. then she wrote something back which i couldn't decipher and which made me laugh even harder. ms tay was then trying to see what we were writing, so she could get the joke (which she apparently didn't because we were just laughing as if it were for no reason).

then after that it was a lot more fun, because we couldn't stop once it got started and when i finally stopped ivana was still laughing and that in turn infected me back.
talk about contagious laughter.

we started jumping about (in front of ms tay!) and all..
haha omg super high there was a point when i laughed until my stomach hurt.. really it was like after you do sit-ups lol over exercise hohoho haha but it's fun (:

laughing makes your body produce endorphins. (i think)
it's a good way of de-stressing!

okay laughter spasms are totally da bombzxz! ahaha!

can't blog much anymore, gotta do my english pe (yes, the one three weeks overdue) and sleep early tonight!

hey...

Friday was really, a great day! :D
whee so happy (:
okay. The morning started off well. i had this super cool and happy dream.
Then it sort of sparked me to go bathe.. (nvm if u don't get it). So i woke up at 5am and went to bathe. then i had a lot of time to spare, because it was still 5 plus..
So i blow-dried my hair, lay in bed and took a rest for what seemed a while and suddenly woke up to check the time and it was 6.35 am! LOL! (:

so okay, i decided to eat breakfast; ate a nice plate of mee tai buk..
then went to change and all.
it was raining that morning, very heavy..
we left the house at 7.00 sharp, and took 25 minutes to get to school.
we were stuck outside for.. 25 minutes.
but quite fun actually.. haha.
anyway no stress, won't get booked because of the heavy rain.
when we reached the foyer, saw joey getting off fr the car right behind ours, so walked back with her to class. we reached when the national anthem just started..

ICT was fun, just went around talking to ppl coz i was super bored.
I got inspired to study justice vs mercy MOV!
cooliozzzz huh.
ivana kept playing icy tower and aarthi was trying to stop her; ahahahahha

mm so just played around and i found this cool fashion design website too!

recess.. was okay.
i bought a plate of fried rice w egg from stall 6.
and then when i sat down, i realised i couldn't finish.
cos it was freaking large an amount ok!!! ahahhaa (:
yup ke bought that too.. inspired by me ;)

yeah so i felt super wasteful (i hardly touched the rice at all) so i tried to find ppl to help me eat.
huey fang helped me eat some.. (:
yay. okay. i went to return the plate with still quite a lot of fried rice left..
it was still raining..
blah blah blah (self, refer to ____) and we went to the music room for music; it was still drizzling and Lingzhi was running like a bimbo/ sissy! HAHAHAHA.. (Lingzhi i spelled your name correctly! (:)

okay, music was damn fun luh.
the teacher didn't come coz she was stuck in the jam, so while waiting we did loads of crazeh stuff like dance to the keyboard music and stuff.
danced jive, ballet (the anyhow kind) and some crazy '70s dance. hahaha.
we were just mucking around but it was freaking funnnn. (:
got super high luh. (:

then when the teacher arrived, we started to record our songs.
InspiralMusique, my group, recorded 'If we hold on together', a nice song!
I played the chords and huey fang played the melody. (: I can play the whole song (melody and accompaniment) on the piano now, though.
yay our group did a good job! <3 thanks group members fr staying back to record after school! (i had to go for CES)

had assembly, some ppl came to sing for us. their singing was quite good.

sher enjoyed it a lot, haha.

after assembly, went back to class to get my stuff and went to the dance studio for our exam.
it was super fast. like last year.
the music was wayyy too slow so it was a bit screwed bt still okay methinks.

after dance, waited for ivana and we went to the canteen to eat before going for CES.
i wanna buy prawn noodle nxt time!! :D
the prawn noodle thing was funny.
i ate rice from the malay stall. we kind of delayed and delayed and ate slowly before going for math. haha..
bought seafood tao kay noi too. (sp?)

went to J block bt couldn't find the classroom, so went to D block.
found it, went in, copied answers, stoned.
we stayed back to ask qns too.

yay! i like staying back in school to study!
it helps me progress so much faster and do so much more!
okay, so after math ivana and I went down to find ms tay for lit.
some others were there and we joined them at that cute small table.
it was so nice. (:

moved to the pavilion later on.
it was seriously useful can!
i feel so happy.
and grateful. (:
haha.
it was super fun also (to me).
everyone stayed back till quite late, i stayed until 6 plus, the others even later, some of them.
&& the choc chip cookies were very nice right! :D

for the first time in my life, i find myself loving almost everyone in class, maybe everyone, but at least near everyone in class!

Saturday

Slept in, wasted half a day away and wasted it further, ending up with no work completed for the day.
Went to jog at botanics gardens.
i think i grew un-fitter frm last time! ahaha :D
only jogged abt 1.5 ytd..
tiring man!
went home, bathed and got ready to go to..

okay, so it wasn't that great,
it was even boring for me (the first part).
just heard loud cars zoom by (only could catch a glimspe of th car for a second) and feared for the sanity of my ears. (my ear plugs didn't fit in properly at first, i was scared there would be some damage done to my hearing, if i didn't go deaf)
i didn't in the end. (:

well. it was seriously sian and couldn't even talk properly 'coz the cars were to loud for us to hear our own voices.
and it was just boring.
i was smsing halfway when my phone went flat, so my only source of entertainment was cut off as well.
it was squishy, not to mention hot too.
i must sound like a spoilt brat.

okay lar, it wasn't that bad.
i tried to enjoy myself a bit more by engaging in the video and watch the cars zoom past at amazing speeds.
wow.
how do they go so fast man.
blah blah.
hahaha i wanted to leave at first, go home or sth.
my parents were scared i'd be bored.
i persevered to the end tho!
ahahah.

there was an interval, so we went to marina square to grab a bite. (and window shopping for me)
it was sort of a compensation. at first i thought i saw a lot of things i liked, but upon closer look they weren't that nice.
when we got our table at crystal jade la mian xiao long bao, we got in and ate.
i didn't eat much; just a bowl of wanton soup because i'd eaten earlier on and they ordered quite a lot of stuff.
oh yeah, because they ordered stuff i also ate some egg white with crab meat and scallops thing which was quite nice except i don't think it had crab meat.. dunno lah haha.
and the fish and chips sea bass. it tastes funny; chinese fish ala fish and chips style.
blah blah.
went for a second round of window shopping.

yup blah blah blah it was quite okay.
and the race ended at about 11?
everywhere was damn crowded man, entrances brimming with ppl and there were police to monitor the traffic condition.
walked and walked until we got back at the car at raffles city. i had blisters on my feet!

yea ok.

Girls like suprises

My parents came back from America today, and guess what I saw on the counter upon reaching home?

Juicy wrapping paper..

i let out a lil yelp of joy when i saw this - it was so, omg! JUICY!!!
hahahaaaa! :D

got a green roxy jacket also, which i absolutely love! it comes with an uber cute sticker that says "for your tunes" above the little pocket compartment..! XD

i took the smaller box out first, wrapped in pink tissue and a big, generous deep-chocolate ribbon

and couldn't bear to open it!
coz the ribbon was wrapped too nicely!
but of course, i had to open it.
so i undid the ribbon and teared away the scotch-tape gingerly; careful not to tear the paper as much as possible.

and it revealed..!

i didn't take photos of the inside, but it is a gold chain bracelet with a beautiful fastening in the end.. one side is a heart and the other, a horse shoe; both encrusted with diamonds. there's also a tag with some words on it..

and the wallet is black velvet on the outside.. lined with prints of crowns inside with black leather trimming.. i can't bear to dirty it with the coins and notes which aren't clean or brand new, so i will save it to use next time.
i really love the hoodie too, thanks dad and mum! (:

haha maybe if you don't know why i'm freaking out, it's because i have been crazy over juicy couture stuff since last year, simply because they are sooooo super nice and prettayee! :D
i'm sure you agree! so cool. i wanna buy a velour hoodie next time.
there was a dark blue one in the States, but they didn't buy it! i wanted it since i saw it online lor.. but never mind.. haha. thanks for the gifts anyway :D

oh and did you know even the receipts are printed on light pink paper with juicy logo printed all over and behind it has light grey/ silver words?
it's so nice right.. better than some place's recycled paper receipt. even the receipt is pretty!
i'm also going to keep the paper bag it came in.. tres fabulous! (:

New York is sooo cool! I mean, the shops and everything are amazing. and BIG. and the buildings are historical and grand and cool, diff from Singapores boring square buildings but oh well, maybe if you live there you'll find Singapore a nice change too..
haha, my parents said they went to Barneys (gossip girl!) and the Met and 5th Avenue and 57th Street. There were big, individual outlets of famous European brands too. and the F21 is huuuge omg i wanna go. and the best of all, Juicy. I think it would look so nice and magical lor.. a girl's dreamland where everything is pretty and cute and where everything makes you wanna scream because it's just too nice! omgggg i wanna go shopping there one day, but it's too costly to fly there just to SHOP; i'm not loaded or anth so oh well.

hey!!!!!

today was great! i had so much fun in school laughing :D
esp towards the end.

chinese was fun, slack. did a chinese paper for 30 minutes and the rest was spent listening to tang lao shi talk abt her trip to China. ahahahazx; english was okok lar but we spent wayy too much time on that compre. it's ancient already..

literature was fun!
omg lit quotes, si ling was damn freaking funny. i was helping her hold the paper, with "Bassanio" and "Shylock" written on it, also written by me. :D
the whole class completely cracked up man.. HAHAHA classic. (kuh-la-seeeec.)
and i was eating a slice of pizza! :D bet you were all jellylous of my pizza, chocolate (NOT made in China) from si ling and Meiji Crackers! haha lol jk.
and talking about milk powder and China, oh my gosh everybodyyy has been talking abt it today! Products such as Magnum, White Rabbit sweet, M&Ms, mentos yoghurt, even chicken in a biskit are contaminated. Can you believe it, i hope i didn't eat any one containing the plastic stuff in it. ew!
so weird also everywhere suddenly stops selling chocolates.
luckily i don't eat any of them too often (though i ate an M&M choc cupcake ystdy, 24 M&M's on top to be exact.. but i only ate half of it.. *interval* guess what i'm currently picking out the m&ms and popping them into my mouth nw. *after another interval* okay i decided not to do it anymore. the newspaper is scaring me.)
i got back my second lit quiz and my lit FA (the second one also). omgtttuz lah, i'm like barely passing lit. ): how do my peers think of and write such cheem stuff. my brain just can't come up with any, no matter how it tries..

okay geog was totallayyye FUN okay, we had to draw a poster which encourages ppl to give birth. so we drew a family tree and many many MANY, seriously many, people the cute little kind with smiley faces and un-stick bodies. okay some had stick bodies. you get the point right. anyway it was so fun and cute and our whole group contributed to drawing. it was quite funny too. meaning that there were laughs and stuff. haha funnn!
and then iliana's group (sitting behind us) presented their song as a rap kind of thing.. it was very nice! :D

we went down and i bought rice with chicken and egg.
and then we sat down.
then had a fun time talking abt grades, like the newly gotten back geog and lit papers, (oh yeah i'd forgotten to mention we got back our term 3 geog exam papers during geog. i am quite satisfied with my marks, good-ish but average, even though i found out later on a lot of people actually got 1 mark higher than i did.) anyway i was like crap lahhh my grades in RGS have never been outstanding but who cares. oh ya then we moved on, talking about math and science and stufffff.
hahaha i forgot what we said exactly, but we were talking abt how shitty math was cuz the people i was talking to were the ones who failed math like me. hahaha.
math CES whooooots!! [it's quite fun actually (:]
and then guess what.
nisha (no she didn't fail math) was talking about how slow and blur she thought i was AGAIN; she had said tt during geog just.
she kept insulting me!! haha but it was funny lar.. OMG. she kept saying i'm blurrrrr.
it's not my fault right.. natural instincts. or whatever. at least i'm not blur all the time.. (:

hahaz (stop laughing!) then while we were laughing i was told to hurry up eat 'cos apparently, i was eating very slowly, maybe talk too much, so i'd mostly finished my food and only left my egg (which was very nice, i like the dark soya sauce egg) because i kind of left it to the end/ then i was eating halfway when the fork was too hard, my fragile egg broke and a chunk of it fell onto the table. so wasted! i'd saved it to the end to eat then it was gone. luckily i'd eaten about half the egg already. garh. so i was like, "freak! my egg!" then they all thought it was so funny, peeps like ivana and nisha and (maybe) ling zhi. hohoho. i was quite sad that my egg had gone to waste, but maybe i wasn't in such a egg mood today so i guess i wasn't too sad.. but stillll..

we went to popular after that because we all wanted to go and i needed to buy a new pad of foolscap. mine has completely run out alr lor, i have two pads (dun think wrong) normally in my bag but they both ran out alr. i have some at home but i wanted to buy a new one as they are rather old.. anyway, i couldn't choose between the popular pad with glue at the top or the one with glue at the side. it was agreed btwn lingzhi and I that the one with glue at the side was more fun to use but i felt like buying the one with the glue at the top. ohwell. it's less fun though.
must be sounding c*ck ass retarded now (;

anyway the auntie was PMS-ing so i paid and then we went back up to class for science.
hahaha oh man on the way up (and in the bookshop too, actually) was too funny.
we were talking about _____, a very interesting subject to laugh about; i can't really say talk about, just because, well, he is not that interesting.
oh well very funny though.
we were like mimicking his few trademark phrases/ actions he gained since he came.. aiya, it was just for fun, wasn't being mean or anth (:

anyway when we reached back to class, i got a shock but it was funny at the same time and i was also, still laughing because i was in my high-laughy mood hohoho (:
shock, because first, we were wondering if mr yap was in class; then Lingzhi was in front of me, and the door was blocking my view then she suddenly let out a "ohhhp!" sound then i was like wth then i saw mr yap standing in front of the class when i didn't expect it so it was like :O. omg.
science was pretty fun today, i love my group LICA LICA! :D did task ate today. (omg i suddenly rmb i must watch ANTM! -.- random ya i know..) anw, we were supposed to build a long structure with toothpicks and plasticine/ plastercine (sp?) and ended up with 3 points only. bwahahaha. but we were still congratulating each other after that. at least our structure had creativity! :D haha and we should totally be awarded points for the asthetics component lah.
;))

after the task was done, we started making objects with our happy yellow unique plasticine (because all the other groups' ones were red). shu xian started making ducks, swans, shark, (she's real good at it!) and iliana made a turtle while i made sushi, salmon roe sushi and california handroll (:
li yong made a flower.
iliana took a long time to carve her turtle's shell. and then we had to pack up and roll the plasticine back into one big lump. so we did. squashed all our creations aww ):
and we were being damn childish but hey, it's fun. (:

then we went back to our seats from our groups, si ling cracked a joke which was funny.

then right, he was being humourous (or at least, in his opinion) today. after we handed up our reflections..
he made a joke, "i heard from your science rep that most of you handed in all your reflections."
"this class is not responsible." silence..

he actually thought it was funny, repeating many times to ~~himself~~ us that "it was just a joke". at least it's praise, a refreshing change to what he gives us normally.. (:
okay, anw, we found out that our science EOYs is going to be in NSW style, which is a definite thumbs up for me! ((:
which means i don't have to study (much), and still be able to pass.. whooots!
science is like my least favourite subject to study. especially physics.

haha after school went back nisha was still trying to make me sound blur!

the foyer was especially noisy today, full of bubbly chatter.
and it was then i decided i like school quite a lot and was happy to be just standing there, waiting like a moron. okay not quite, the moron part.
anyway today was very fun, lessons are fun - sometimes - esp when there's no homework or stress to study and know your work (lit quiz *gasps* shit i haven't even read acts four and five yettt! :O and my math worksheets!!! so many of them and my history!!! :O)
oops, maybe it was just me who forgot.

i really love my class this year 207 who's a lively, bubbly, chatty, friendly, noisy, fun, caring and loving class whom i love and (i hope) they love me too.
yay!

okay, so it has spurred me on a little to complete my hw, which is seriously a lot leh!

but knowing that other people have just like me, not completed all their hw is a sort of console. (:

i really feel quite stupid being clueless about history, geog and sucking at math. history and geog is the result of not paying attention in class, i gotta study but it's a whole damn lot to study! D:
and i just can't pay attention during math, the lesson feels so floaty and i don't know where we are half of the time. even on days when i pay attention, i usually end up failing the papers or barely scraping past. in which case this year, the former being more evident than the latter.
totally not an encouragement. but i know i'm not alone.

EYAs coming up in 2 weeks - i just realised last night. for one i know i have no mood to study. i'm just stuck, feeling dumb and clueless to my school work and unmotivated at all. but huey fang has motivated me a little (thanks).
i guess i'll try to make use of the little that's left of this wasted weekend.

a little bit does count, i guess the main thing that is pulling me back from doing any hw at all (and it always happens) is the big amt of it shoved right in my face; and making me back away more. to get me started i will begin by attempting a few math questions and at the end of the day, i can still feel better knowing i've done, even if it's a miniscule amount, some homework. it beats doing none, yes? (:

Dinner at the American Club

Hey peeps!

just came back from dinner at the american club. it was buffet again and i am still full!
anyway had a great time there, saw some american ppl (true or ABC) they look quite pretty some of them. oooookay i seriously sound weird. we went to buy cakes and muffins and cookies @ half price there.. haha.

you know what i am looking forward to after EOYs because then we get to play, play, play! and all we want is just a little fun.. (;
i haven't done my truckload of hw yet! but back to post-EOYs, i think it will be very funnn! omg i love overseas trips and i want to go to China to shop shopshop x 1093248 it is freaking cheap there hahahh! blogger is screwed up and for the whole of today, my posts have been unable to autosave and whatever stuff so i think the time and date is wrong too. ):

anyway here's what i blogged this morning:

My Saturday morning consisted of waking up near noon, rolling about in bed, feeling as if the day was like a p6 one (maybe just the smells in the air), reading gosisp girl, eating mini pies for brunch, snacking on 2 real energy bars, slurping blueberry soda, feeling the cool beverage trickle down my throat and not to mention, hazing my way around spectacle-less.

I don't know if I ought to start studying for end-years, or if it's too early. haha wellll.
I'm ending off now. might prolly flip through my book for a while, then catch my beauty sleep. (i haven't digested my food yet!) bye!

Am i glad to have my computer back!
I haven't been blogging much the past few days; partially because of the never-ending list of homework to be done, but primarily because my internet was down. But my internet is working again! (obviously)

So, school's started, the homework only gets more and more, and there's no new photos (or gossip). Well, the weekend is here, and we're all glad to play aren't we!
ahahahh :D but most ppl will probably say, "I'm stressed out studying for the EYAs! D:"

(I'm writing this due to the lack of interesting topics) although i've only lived without the internet/ cable TV for merely 2 days, it sure did seem like an ETERNITY!! haha sound so geekish don't I. oh wells, it is quite inconvenient due to inet being unaccessible, thus making me unable to print out all the math/ history slides and whatnot! :O
OMG! nonononono! hahaahhahahahah ;)

Another issue that is annoying me is the corruption of my *@&#(@# thumdrive. It's driving me nuts! First, my old thumbdrive got corrupted. Like it's not enough, my second (and fairly new) thumdrive gets corrupted too! It's so ugh. I seriously don't care about the thumdrive itself, because I don't like the common design (cheap plastic) and the chinese-based software which is ()!#*)($^ irritating, and I'm undeniably trying to get it swapped for a new one; however, i have some important files inside, like my photoshopped poster which i spent some effort doing. And the corruption issue seems to be happening to me only brrr. Stupid thumdrive always does not work. D:

On a lighter note, I think the idea of making plans for activities post-EOY is a pretty effective source of inspiration. So let me see what I'd like to do after the exams... (:

Okie-dokey, some short updates on the past few days now;

Tuesday
RS in the library was fun! It's perfectly fine to unleash your childish side and do immature things like fighting over who types the ppt presentation..! =)
(but again, RS reminds me of school and how much stress it's giving me now and how much i dread it. ):
btw did i mention i did both my yue du bao gaos yesterday night, causing me to sleep later than i could have? amazing! but i feel a bit guilty because they are two weeks overdue and I'm about the last person to hand it in, with the exception of one or two others, and plus the fact that our nice chinese teacher gave us all chocolate coated marshmallows on her last day (yesterday). but oh well at least i did it in the end.. it felt good finally being able to cancel off two lines of hw on my notebook. (:)

Novel in the afternoon. Managed to complete a fair bit of math ((:

Boring day with boring subjects.
but i managed to pull through hahahh..
well, it did help that we were allowed to eat in history and that we had speech which was more relaxing..
our chinese teacher gave us the marshmallows and ppl were taking pictures with her hehe. sweet!

Today.. we had english in the morning when we were discussing Schooling and Education.
Better home-schooled or receiving institutionalised education?
I personally believe institutionalised education allows you the experience of having a life with other ppl around and how to live and.. well, how others behave.
haha and i sure thought that the teach less learn more theory may be applied in some subjects, but definitely not math.
my group bursted out in laughter after i said that.
i guess we all agree ;)

Keyboarding is hard. I feel intimidated already but i shouldn't ((:

Lower Sec Assembly was cancelled so we spent the hour in class instead. I managed to chiong five and a half CPS reflections during the lesson! omg! i was like breathless doing it, hating the repetitive questions some of which were extremely un answerable. i mean, come on, if you want me to give a good answer, give a better question. and i forgot most of the lessons' details already for goodness sakee. Escaped yet another booking from _____!
Name is left blank as i don't wish to be reminded of him, especially when i'm out of school. Sry, I really don't mean to sound mean.

Ohwell. Went for remedial. It was okay, but i got lost through the lesson (as usual, because it was conducted by a certain person who goes by the name of hectares (Aarthi reminded me this morning haha it was pretty hilarious ;).. i mean, she can be a good teacher at times but her level of incoherency and tendancy to talk to herself makes it less than easy to keep up with the lesson with ease.)

Lingzhi was being 'comical' (she always says that; you very comical (eh)!) because of a certain reason that is not convenient to be put up here.
haha but she's funny la.
oh well, heard that math RA test was hard! don't feel sad guys (if you do), math RA is for ppl who are out-of-the-world-smart! at least you made it to the test! (:
..if that's much of a console. lingzhi and i are too pro for math RA though.. we already have a PhD what do you expect. (;

hello! i am very in blogging mood now; yay :D

I got new stationery! :D
the list of my new stationery includes:
-pink Jordi Labanda file (which i haven't decided to use or not for school because two files are a bit too much to handle)
-and what i bought today! went to borders and bought this really nice notebook, lavender and dreamy with a picture of two little (angmoh, i presume) girls dressed up as fairies but you can only see their backs and with the words "Dreams and Wishes" embossed in shiny silver print at the top. attached also is a dangling purple ribbon with silver stars at the edge, cute much! :D
reminds me of the times i used to love fairies when i was young.. i miss that time when i was little and i also have a tendancy to like little girls (age 4-6?) especially much; because that's when they are obsessed with play make-up, pink and purple, fairies and magical wonderful stuff. (:
i used to have a magical feeling that felt so special and precious when i owned/ saw things of such stuff when i was young, but i guess i'm too old to appreciate it anymore. i no longer get the exhiliration and joy of owning new stuff. probably because i buy too many stuff. or maybe when you get older you get more boring and that childish excitement no longer lingers in you.. ):

i also bought this sweet light purple background with fairies and flowers adhesive film thing. basically it is just like this large paper sticker which you can cut out any way you like and stick it on stuff, notebooks, files, whatever. i really liked the design it's very sweet! haha.

today we watched this video in geog. it was probably the most interesting geog lesson for a long time, hahaha. i liked the video. it was about china baby girls getting abandoned because of the growing population which led to the one child policy, and most of the parents (especially those in the rural areas) favour boys over girls so they abandon the poor baby girls. some of them got adopted by Americans. their lives seem better though, better haircut and nicer clothes (to me) but i guess having your biological parents with you is still most important and the most blessed.
hehehe. but i guess they are better off living with richer parents in America because they wouldn't be better off in China anyway, who ask their parents to abandon them in the first place. the little girls were real cute and pretty ahahah! :D reminds me a bit of the time when i was young, i'm not being egoistic or anth here really i'm just saying it reminds me as i sometimes flip through my childhood photos. hur hur;

i was really grouchy the whole of today, well some parts not quite but i was feeling so tired i didn't bother to talk much or be lively i just fell asleep through any lesson that allowed me to.
i think i fell asleep at least 3-5 blocks. i thought i was going to faint during geog and the fact that we had math, then pe (two tiring/ boring blocks when you're not at your best) didn't help to comfort me either.

after school, i walked with huey fang and grace, two real friendly and nice ppl (: up till i parted ways with them in the foyer.
it was three and my aunty brought me and my sis to Marriott for their high tea buffet. hey, after discount the price was very reasonable, coolioz! :D

omg they had a lot of food, esp the desserts it was like OMG damn a lot and all of them looked nice but it is sooo fattening. because i'm not in my inspired-to-exercise-and-be-disciplined-in-what-i-eat mood right now (actually for the past week or so already), i helped myself to some banana crumble with custard sauce and ice-cream of different flavours (i took a little tiny bit of each only) and the fan-wafers you normally stick in ice-cream. oh and the chocolate roll stick thing which i've been wanting to try since the last time i went but was too bloated to eat.

i feel super fat now but i'm too tired to care, maybe i'll go jogging to lose weight sometime when i feel like it. (: in case you're wondering, i didn't eat only dessert, had sushi, lettuce, some dim sum dumplings and fresh prawns etc. also. took a bit of each only, i hope i don't sound like a pig :/
(i can imagine sher at this time saying half-jokingly that i do ):)

we walked to borders (i didn't know it was so near) after that and bought some stuff and then went back home. it's 7.34 pm already so fast lol. blah.
i'm bored. i have a lot of hw to rush, dunno if i'm going to do it?
we shall see. maybe i should bathe first, then watch tv. and then i'll do my hw if i feel like it.

Mooncakes, Moonlight, and Lanterns.

Happy mooncake festival! hahahahahaa XD

so, mooncake festival was without the moonlight and lanterns. but we had pomelo this morning!
omg, did i mention how much i like pomelos lol (:

anyway, it all started ytd night as we were supposed to be celebrating mid-autum festival in place of tonight, as we all know there's school tomorrow.
everything was ready, lanterns, mooncakes, food.
ahaha so shen-nen came first, played DDR and we totally suck at it. (:
oops, i meant rock.
ahahaha but it's kinda fun i guess. but honestly, my skills aren't v good! ):
anyway we were playing wii tennis halfway when koko, aerin and hon sean came so we continued playing for a while then the girls went down to the poolside first.

we waited for them then someone spotted (seriously) big ants on the floor beside the table so we went back up coz they didn't feel comfortable spending dinner with the ants.
ate bee hoon and abalones, a very simple meal (inside joke) together. yup. the bee hoon was nice and the abalones too!
kays then i guess the mood for lanterns was gone even though we had gone down each carrying a cellophane lantern, like in our childhood days.
i wasn't all into the lantern stuff in the first place anw.

we had a great time eating dinner, ate durian mooncakes, playing ddr, and while my sister and aerin played, shen-nen and i sat near the com and i went to bathe and then we just lazed around it was pretty fun (:
EOYS are coming!
&they had brought their stuffs to mug man ahahahzxzx!
mmyeah it was very nicee.
went to my room, switched on the air-con and chatted for a really long time.
shen-nen was mugging history, lent her some notes.
tried to mug but ended up chatting the night away up till 2 am.
it was really fun (: we decided to take a 5 minute rest and continue mugging but both of us fell asleep till waking up throughout the night at intervals haha. i woke up at 3 plus to find the lights still on and my bed was homg messy, my stuff taking up like 2/3 of th space ahaha (:

woke up the next morning (today) at 10.15 and shen-nen was still sleeping.
then saw aerin outside the room so i got up (cos i couldn't go back to sleep!) and chatted blah blah my sister was sleeping too. shared a packet of julie's waffle biscuits.
we wanted to order mc delivery because at first we were thinking of going out for breakfast at macs at first but it was too late to go already.. ahaha so we went to the website and it said last orders at 10.45 am for the breakfast meal.
it was 10.45 exactly so we hurried up call the ppl. they said that the breakfast meal was closed already! how unfair is that!!!! so we ordered a double cheeseburger, chicken mcnuggets, chicken mcwings and a grilled chicken foldover in the end.
they took almost an hour to get it sent over.
but not like it really mattered; we were chatting in my room. the food came, we ate and then shen-nen had to leave coz her mum was here already.

we continued eating and then ate that pizza which we were freaking over coz of the (what my sister thinks is) bleu cheese and suspicious looking mouldy bits.
i think we were over-reacting but ohwells ahaha.
we dumped our half-eaten pizzas on the plates and went to my room for radio.

oh yeahs and i've been eating lots of mooncakes and pomelos today.
oh man i've suddenly regained my love for mooncake this year (i used to hate it for quite a while) and pomelos are really nice when they are juicy.
juiiiicy ;P yeahhhhhhh aerin was reading her science textbook and it was pretty funny when she/we got stuff mixed up ahahahah. ((: then after a while we got distracted and started dancing and camwhoring. omg it was such mighty fun. hahaha (:
i miss sc, i really do, i guess it's more fun there (no offense).
i miss primary school days esp p6 k.

ahaha we did lots of stuff like camwhore with my DSLR and aerin the gymnast did a handstand and i was taking photos and then i tried to take her expression when she was at her handstand then she burst into laughter, fairly hilariousss! yeah and i like english songs more than i do chinese songs nowwww. omg. i just have this nostalgic feeling and sudden gushes of inspiration to do certain stuff now. but then there's school a lotta hw and EOYs coming up and i really don't feel like doing work now. mixed feelings, mixed feelings. ohwell, life has got to carry on omg school D:

yo. i've been up to stuff. what stuff, you ask?
well, first of all i've bought your present already xinglingzhi!! are you amazed at my level of efficiency or what. hehe

anyway. just came back from taka (been going there abt every time my aunty takes us out)
i ate a durian pancake! (from four seasons, Sher;)
the pancake was damn nice. as in, the pancake itself hahaha. the durian was cold while the pancake was hot, so it was some sort of a contrast.
the durian was alright but i can't take too much at once coz i'm not used to eating it.. :P
i irritated my sister with my durian breath lol so fun; i must be sounding damn childish :O

ahaha.
guess what, amanda had to wake up at 6 am on a dreary Saturday morning.
it was raining like crazy, thankfully she didn't have to take a bus there herself. (republic poly)
my aunties, koko and aunty susan, were so nice to send me there (thank you! :D)
and i reached on time! wheee
SMP sucked.
only a part of it was fun,
most of it was D:
so i'm not going to talk abt it anymore (not like i care anywayyy).
yup.

but i'm sure everything will get better.

i bought a new file for $23.80!

lit quiz today; was rushing to study in the morning.
oh and woke up at three last night to find myself having fallen asleep while reading.
gd news is, the quiz was pretty easy! i'm so glad i'd made an effort to NOTICE the questions that came out. haha
and another piece of great news is that i got 3.6 and 4.0 for chinese gong han and PT respectively!
hehe coolios.
i sound like a nerd who's obsessed over grades lol.

anyway.
school's reopened, it's the start of a new term.
but it doesn't seem any different from the last term.
oh well.
got a lot of hw man.
i didn't do my holiday homework, except for compre, and our understanding teachers piled a few more assignments on top of that. school ain't very exciting and the hw explains the reason why i gotta get my ass away from this com nw kays bb!

i'm happyhappyhappy! (:

whee;
so just came back from lunch.
i love my batchmates! :D <333
ahaha.
yup!

kays anyway went for angklung this morning.
i was like forty minutes late because i overslept!
lol.. yups anw today was okay lar. did mainly besame mucho.
did some percussion stuff too.

oh then it was finally 12.30 and we were let off!
whee yay. and omg the height thing!
and brought my cookies today. ate some myself, OMG FAT.
haha so anyway, after prac ended, i brought jolynn and edith to this place for really good wanton mee. we were super high on the way lar.
WHOOO! XD ahaha.

we were screaming, jumping, shouting, becoming superwoman..
just for a while. yeah haha you get it.

whooo then i was like, very bloated, cos of the cookies just now.
so we were trying to burn calories all the way from the percussion time till like, lunch time, Jolynn and I.

and so we decided to walk to the MRT station from school.
my first time lehzxzx!
yeah so at first thought of waiting for the bus because it's faster but then the bus was taking a long time (okay we didn't wait very long).
anyway decided to walk by ourselves first.. edith took bus and we met up at the bus stop outside Orchard MRT later.

omg pretty high.
i want to stay in a high class 5 star hotel in indonesia! i hope they have nice ones.
i mean.. i dunno what to expect coz i dunno how Indonesia's like.

haha yeah so we managed to walk from school to bus stop, to far east and to the MRT!
hope i burned some fats. yeah anyway it was good exercise. i think it should've helped me gain some appetite hehz.

met edith and took 190 to a bus stop near that place.
asked the uncle if the bus goes to centrepoint and he said, "take to heeren and walk from there.."
heeren is quite far from there can.
we ended up taking the bus a bit in front of the cuppage place and walked back (exercise again! burn calories, gain appetite, reduce bloatedness XD)
it was drizzling so i opened my umbrella.

anyway we finally got there!
yay!
could smell the nice smell of ginko barley dessert.
i like!

yup it was very cramped and crowded, but we managed to find a place; moved twice later on (to better and more spacious tables). ordered 3 bowls of wanton mee. our queue number was 29.

yup got our food and tucked in.
it was yummy! :D

after the noodles we went to order like 2 bowls of ginko barley and 1 pulut hitam. the ginko barley was nice at first but when i was near finishing, i felt sick of the sweetness. i still do.

k so had a really good meal (considering a mundane day after prac).
i went to dabao fried wantons which are really nice.
they come in 14 pieces for $3.

the wantons are so oily that when i bit into them, the oil spurted out.
but again, a little oil won't hurt and they are really nice!
anyway they are nice lah.
they sell about a thousand over bowls per day in malaysia, where they originated from.

after lunch, we walked to the MRT station, feeling awfully bloated from the disgusting dessert.
walked and talked and the sun was glaring hot jolynn was like, "i can't believe it was drizzling just now."
lol..
yeah then we walked past the istana where there were a few policemen guarding the gate and JOLYNN WANTED TO WAVE.
but we didn't.
three people walking in front of us did. guess what, the policeman waved back, lmao.

we should have waved at him also.
i'll do the frozen wave. then he will think i'm waving at him and wave back. XD

Holiday = Shopping day ;)

went out with lois for lunch and shopping today. met at taka and ate Ajisen..
wasted our food because we didn't have appetite.
the scallop ramen was not bad but i was full.

chatted and stuff. it was fun.

anywaysss we walked around aimlessly since we didn't have any idea what to do.
pedi sounded good but all three pedi places said we'd have to wait an hour or they were not available! ):
sucks i guess we have to book an appointment next time..

hmmm walked over to wisma and ended up in GAP.
omg the childrens' clothes are really cute! :D
anyway they didn't have our sizes so we went over to the adults' side.

walked around then went to taka to find meiji crackers (notforme ok!) but they seemed to have no stock so i bought lotte chocopie instead!

i alr feel so regretful eating so many cookies - all my effort of exercising went to waste! ):

since the cookies make me so fat (they do substantial damage, SERIOUSSS), i'm bringing them to angklung tomorrow.. but they taste really good still heh (:
anw was feeling a bit hungry and the delifrance egg crossaint looked very nice but didn't buy and went down to the food court, where i tried to search for the meiji crackers.
tried East Ocean's generous servings of mooncake and they are very GOOD. omg i dun really like mooncake, only some kinds, but these are very nice!
i like the custard, yam, red bean, black sesame and snow skin custard, yam, lotus paste, black sesame and green tea.
and the mooncake ppl are usually very friendly also!
ie. they let you try as many as you like and they won't give you that irritated look if you don't buy. haha then i ate the mooncakes until i from hungry became full.
i bet i gained a few pounds from it too. later must exercise.
