Anyway camp on Mon, Tues was a blast! Not. Haha it was rather boring. We had prac most of the time, and prac was soooo super boring. Moving on, there were games also.. there was th great amazing race as well as the night walk thing. Haha quite fun la. At least it seemed like there was pretty much effort put in. (: And uhhhh the night walk was quite fun when everyone starting screaming for the sake of it and Edith was so scared and the rest who screamed alarmed me and made me scream too. Like telepohone effect. LOL well it wasn't all that scary actually, I mean, it's just the exco ahah.

So we pracced, had tea break, pracced, had lunch, pracced, had dinner, bathed (i always love how refreshing it feels after bathing :)) and pracced AGAIN. SIANZORS ttm luhs. And then we had the night walk after prac. Lunch was horrible; it was rice with chicken (still okay, but the sauce was spicy and I can't eat spicy) and vegetables which taste resembled plastic unfantastic. Had the same thing for dinner (we were so totally disappointed man. We'd thought they'd give us normal chicken rice and not the said disgusting meal)

After the night walk we returned to the gym.. Happy :DDD Was damn tired by then so Edith and I spread out our sleeping bags and attempted to start sleeping already although everyone else was still talking/ telling stories whatnot. Some people watched the movie also. August Rush. My mom and sis have watched it alr and my dad'd bought it a few days ago. Haha. But I haven't watched it yet.

Listened to Edith's mp3 and tried to sleep but we both took a damn long time to fall asleep. I've no idea what time I fell asleep eventually.. Don't really care either. But I had a pretty good sleep for camp standards.. Maybe cuz this time I was clever enough to bring a pillow and so my head was much more comfortable this time. (But my pillow was too thick and bouncy for my liking as I usually sleep on another softer pillow)

Tuesday morning = PT. We were woken up by somebody's watch (is it?) and I was totally stoned. But not as stoned as Edith. Then went to brush our teeth blah blah. Everyone says my hair is scary. I don't see how it's diff from the others' long hair. Haha anyway I tied it up and it felt better (because I had forgotten to bring my hair moisturizing spray thing, thus probably the unruly-ness??)

Hmmz PT was okay, not very strenuous. I realised the track is damn hard to run on, harder than if you run on normal ground. And one round is so freaking long (440m) so I don't know if running around my estate is doing NAPFA justice......

Pracced more, had the 'inspirational talk' and then it was time to break camp. Lol. We each got 'monopoly of the angklung trade' bookmarks with random quotes on the back of the bookmarks.. haha (= The seniors cried!! But we really ought to work harder. It's just that sometimes my arm just refuses to shake the way I want it to, lol. :P

Was planning to go for batch lunch but my mom came and she said she'd booked my dental appointment for me to have my teeth cleaned so I didn't go in the end. Went to Tanglin Mall for lunch; ate porkball noodles and honeydew juice. I like honeydew juice normally but this one had too much sugar it made me sick -.-

Haha I like the dental place, it's name was somewhat whimsical and it looked very nice. Haha. The dentist is from New Zealand. It's pretty cool. Uh but I only got my teeth cleaned that's all. Because it's diff from the place I go for my braces.. He put some hot pink (whooo) stuff on my teeth and got me to gargle the rest out with water and the pink stuff left represented the plaque stuck on my teeth.. so I had to clean it off with a toothbrush..

Went home, used com till dinner time, ate, watched tv, chatted on msn.. continuing blogging. I photoshopped some pictures and whatever too. Here are the photos!!! :DDD (Finally...!) Like after how long of nt uploading photos haha.

I've just come back from a sumptious dinner at koko's. It was a lovely, serene night. Haha koko's thai lady friend came to help us stretch (and hopefully grow taller). Hmm I forgot to bring home the recipe book filled with pictures of the loveliest ever cookies, back!

And my cake was a success! :D

I feel so inspired now. So when I come back from camp (yeppie, there's ak camp tmr; overnight!) I'mma:

1) Pack my room. I'mma totally spring clean out my room till it's squeaky, sparkling clean with diamond light reflecting from each corner. Then I'd diffuse awesomely theraputic, relaxing aroma oils and play some of my fav. music.

2) Once I have a nice haven to live in, I will start studying and complete all the holiday homework. (But I must first find out what we have.) I've made up my mind to be more hardworking come next termmm. (=

3) Hmmm. I'll indulge in tv shows. I must finish watching gossip girl (like ZOMG how could I not have finished watching by now right. ttly) and BOF (it's actually quite interesting. :))

I realised that maybe, they have not changed, I have not changed. It's prolly the environment I'm now in which has changed. I can't change my environment but I can still try to make way for things I love, so my life would still be a teeny bit better in every possible way it could be. 'Cause someone needs to make that effort.

Wheeee I love holidays. But what are holidays if there's no going out?

Learning Journeys II

This time I will try to elaborate in intricate detail. Haha.

Tuesday


Tuesday was a free day for us; there were plans for going out with classmates/ batchmates at first, but in the end both got cancelled. Haha well nevermind since I still went out for lunch (with Jolynn and Edith) :))

We went to PS (as usual), and ate Ajisen.

The chicken wings there are not bad. Haha! I was having good appetite that day! :D This place is the 5th good-chicken-wings place I've been to recently across the span of the last few months (cuz it's not a habit of mine to eat chicken wings everyday); the others are namely Parkway, dimsum place at square2, wisma and.. uh I forgot the last place. But I know there was one.


Haha it was pretty fun. It's been a while since we last went out to eat together; the last time was like when? dec? yea. So that was good. We went shopping after lunch as well. First shopped at PS. Edith bought her long grey cardigan from COTTON ON. And then I bought Yami yogurt, peach with peach slices, :DYUMMY:) and then we took a bus to far east cuz someone suddenly thought of going to far east to see if they had any nice and cheap dresses and we were all itching to shop.

Far east was a totallll disappointment! The stock looks like what I would have seen a couple of months back, albeit the fact I have not been to far east to shop for quite some time. Haha I think I'm turning into a brand whore, since now i scoff at the low quality clothes priced at riduculously high prices (but the good quality ones are priced at even higher prices). Ohwell I shall go search far east again someday. Because I'm in desperate need of a few new nice dresses. And I have a budget (Charm Loh and I were talking about this ytd, more on that later)! My budget's around.. $30 for a dress? But it depends on the design and quality and whatever.. whether it's worth it.



So, during prac on Tuesday, Jolynn and I were analysing what clothes we needed to buy.. and we also were hoping for someone to sponsor our shopping sprees. Nyway this is my list:
-a funky vest
-high waisted skirt
-printed leggings (still considering this one)
-a couple of casual dresses
-shoes! Haha heels! And maybe flats, if I see any cute ones. And since I won't be bothered wearing uncomfortable heels all the time.
-a small handbag (remember the one I saw and lurrvveee-d last time? The one at River Island? And was sold out? (Omg why am I writing in novel style. I must have been reading too many books) Anyway yes it was sold out (past season) and I'll be taking my time to find another one I love just as much. No hurry. Besides, I'd already bought another bag (fairly expensive.. ok, medium) the other day)


Yup that's all! I think! I just need new stuff to fill my new (and still empty, ahem) wardrobe with, because as aforementioned in earlier posts, I do not find excitement or interest in dressing in almost every piece of clothing in my wardrobe now. How sad, because I think it's wonderful when you feel a sense of satisfaction with something nice to put on.. (:


Okay moving on. Prac was uhhh, okay! Haha I bought wintermelon tea and wang wang round crackers (which was already soggy D: it's called lou feng i think) and pack of tapioca chips from the first stall since it was like the only stall open in the canteen that day..
Uh and Jolynn bought some orange drink which she loved. Like, a lot. Yeah anyway we aren't really supposed ot eat but they were quite nice that day and turned a blind eye or however the expression is used.. Haha and everybody wanted the chips too! :D

Haha. I am so influencial. I influenced 2 people to buy the same packet of chips during the next break we had haha.


Mm prac was slack too, we just did techniques and voted for which song to play since we were all stoned pretty much

Anyway, after prac we went to the room and it was so nice having the wholeee room to yourself :D

Edith was playing her xiao niang re on the piano; she plays awesome music and is wonderfully talented in playing the song just from memory :O Like she can figure out which notes to play w/o a score. Impressive?


I was prancing around happily. HAHAHA. It was a nice feeling; so serene, having the room to yourself on a dim Tuesday afternoon. It wasn't stuffy either =)


We decided to go running around my estate. So after Edith finally was willing to leave the piano, we took our bags and walked home. My place...
We put down our bags, plugged our earphones on, and went down to jog..
Jogged four rounds.
Which totals to >2.4 km I'm guessing?


Haha then Edith kind of got lost. Haha. Was so worried; I had thought she'd fainted or sth. But she didn't (duh) When we saw her we were quite relieved I think. Ahaha. So funny la
;) lol.


By the end of four rounds we ended up looking fairly screwed.
Haha. I look horrible right after exercising. Running esp..
Mmm. Went up and had Orangina, mercis and lotte mochis (except I didn't eat mochi).
I love mochis anyway.




Sat there, facing the balcony view and chatted till about early 7 plus when they decided it was time to go back. So I took the lift down and they left.



Wednesday

Solar farm at SP; I have photos for this one. Now altogether, shout yay for pictures at my blog finally! :)


The solar farm was 1. boring. 2. sort of fun at certain times..
The first part we got to do some filtration activity with empty bottles, sand, pebbles and co2
It was quite okay. At least there was air-con! The talk was boring.


Next the lecture ah.. I guess you could tell how interesting it was by the look on everyone's faces and the fact that a few people were sleeping. (I have photos of Magdalene and Yixian sleeping to prove this point! :)) Okay I admit, I slept for a while also.. until someone jabbed me to wake me up and then after that I was super energetic somehow. Power nap maybe.


Uhm the solar panels at the balcony were hot like shit! I mean, the sun. I was whining about how I needed my shades.. It was so hot my poor skin felt sore..
Haha and everyone was complaining and trying to hide below the solar panel structure thingoz ahahahha :)


We queued to get into the (extremely stuffy) room place where I was begging God to just LET ME OUT. Cuz I neither wanted to be out in the sun nor did I want to remain in that cramped little shack. And I needed to go to the loo. Magdalene and Emily and a couple of others as well.

Haha you know what I just finished my math tuition and I feel quite intellectual. Okay maybe not really. Cuz it's mathematical stuff where calculations are involved and they make my head spin. Confused. Haha but whatever. I think I will be more hardworking and practice math some day when I am done blogging and am not so tired (I'm VERY VERY tired now) and re-do all the math ws until I am sick of it.


Back to Wednesday we finally got to go toilet after walking 1000000 miles and then we returned to school after that! Yay! And then after that.. I think I went home. I can't rmb already.


Did a bit of my sewing for FC and watched tv and watched BOF now I think I'm sorta hooked.
HAHA. Emily and Yixian were fangirling over Jun Pyo and the other guy whose name I forgot, today. Mhm. Ran another 4 rounds around my esatate and felt like sleeping whilst running. I figured I was really tired and needed to sleep. Oh and I bathed after running, ate spaghetti for dinner and then went off to learning lab. Was slightly late. Got lost in Paris, coz the mirrors are so confusing just like a maze. I was wondering how I was supposed to enter (cuz I saw the five flags but surrounding me were mirrors) and some kid sitting around told me to 'just push the door'. So I found my way in the end. We did speeches! Quite slack and fun. Haha. Clarisse was having the chuckles (what Charm calls it) yesterday. And it was quite so funny. The speeches were funny la. I did wild child.. When we had our break we went down to macs and cold storage, where I bought my choco krispies and cheese muffin. Clarisse's hot chocolate from mc cafe was so tempting la, I was pratically drooling over it but it's such a rip off; $3.90 for a tiny cup.


After learning lab I went home, surfed the com and fell asleep into sweet slumber. Or maybe not, since these few days I've been awaking to a sore body. Like bad sleeping position?


sidetrack: Yum yum I'm eating cakes now. There's tiramisu and some awesomest ever awfully delicious strawberry cream cake. Everything about it is nice, from the cream to the crumbs to the sponge to the strawberries and the custard. Every sinful calorie is worth it.


Today

I shall announce I've cycled 5km on the osim stationary bike! Which is, um, quite a feat. K nt really. But then I cycled for 13 ++ minutes non-stop. Lol. But I don't think I burned a lot lor.. Just enough to make up for my cakes I've been indulging in? I feel so guilty. But so pleasurebly guilty. Oh God, Shangrila does the best cakes (strawberry! :D).

Okok, for learning journeys we had..
Chemistry survery at 8.15 in the morning. Walao the questions were repeated time and again. gt Bored of doing after a while. Oh ahah watched the documentary. It was fun commenting and complaining about how boring it was. HAHAAHA. I'm easily entertained. I got to catch some delicious luxury sleep throughout the doc. Not. It was rather cramped.


After the Chinese movie screening (the doc) had finally ended, went out with Mag for lunch (again) because Geena, E and Y were busy with pb/ band respectively.. We went to PS food court.. didn't realise it was renovated till today. Ate th Indonesian BBQ rice and fish set. As usual. After lunch we hardly got to walk around then went back to school alr.


The Lower pierce reservoir outing was at first, boring, then after that pretty fun. When we first arrived it was super hot and got sweaty and all it sucked. But after a while when the sun went down and we got to sit and all, it was much better. And Geena's fan lol.. Mr Ang apparently thinks it costs 1 million dollars; so NOT, so do not bother stealing her fan. Uhm yea took pictures of some plants and stuff. And we saw monkeys! Of whom Geena, we found out today, is very afraid of, just as she is with cats. And uh that's about it. I made comments which made ppl think I was dumb -.-





THAT'S THE END OF LEARNING JOURNEY WEEK :) Basically it was fun, but I think it went by in a flash, felt pretty surreal and last year's was better. Kukup totally FTW la. <333



After lower pierce, went home, cycled, ate, math/ chem tuition (2h), back to com + cakes. Short and sweet, yayz!

Friday I went out with Edith and Charmaine Loh after our math lesson. We met at City Hall MRT and walked to Marina Square. Gosh, it's soooo troublesome walking from City Hall all the way through citylink to Marina. Haha yea I'm lazy la. Ohwell. We ate at the cafe cartel (haha we had some experiences ahem) and to my disappointment, I didn't really like the food again. I ordered spaghetti. I swear I won't eat cafe cartel again since the food so totally does not fit th price. I don't mind paying but I expect quality okay.

Anyway after lunch we went to para para. Haha it was quite fun. We played a bit then this girl hogged both machines so we went to GV to see if they had any shows but they didn't have Hotel For Dogs so we went bowling.. Only Edith and I bowled. After one set (whatever you call it) of 10 games (10 i think???) we decided to leave and we met Charmaine to para para again. Haha para-ed damn long la! Until my eyes were tired and I got a headache from staring at the bright, flashy screen.. We also saw the softballers there and they were screaming like crazy.

After many, many, many games we finally went home. Met my family who was at Bugis; took train there and bought J.Co's supposedly 100% fat free yogurt thingy but it was so rich and creamy I was convinced it was 100% fat free - not. But I still finished it up nonetheless. (Dun like to waste food you see! :D)

Learning Journeys

Yesterday was th start of LJ week!

Haha when I first came to school, the atmosphere was very sian. And the YOG thing wasn't really that interesting. But then it was still kind of fun in a way la..

Th civic district tour was so screwed can. We didn't get to go because it was raining; we took a bus to Singapore discovery centre, found out it was closed, took bus back to school and got dismissed. Then I went home and then went to learning lab in the evening.

It's only been a year, but everything seems to have changed.


Okay okay, I shall try to snap out of my emo-ness. I hate being emo. I shall psycho myself to being happy and contented again. (Later I'll try).

Anyway, had been talking to lingzhi on the phone and it didn't seem 50 minutes, i only realized when the line got hung up because her phone ran out of battery.
Yea. We miss 207 oh so much. Sometimes I think 303 is okay, sometimes I feel it's not so okay. But whatever. I'll try to adjust.

Anyway, I finally got to do something I'd been wanting to do for a long time, today. You guessed it right: shopping :)
Hahaha. Okay, boring right. But not to me. Anyway I went to Raffles City and Marina Square. But I didn't buy anything from the latter. I bought a dress, a belt, a shirt and a bag. From Miss Selfridge (love :D) and Topshop and Aldo. Yay I finally have something new to wear. I was sighing in desperation at the sight of my clothes this morning: the scenario replayed is like this:
me. flips through one piece of garment hanging on the hanger; says I don't feel like wearing this. flips through the next few pieces. I don't like this/ this is so ugly. Comes to the conclusion I had really poor taste. I can't imagine what I was thinking then.

Bumped into my cousin at Raffles City just now......
Hmm. Okay my blog is seriously boring now, w/o the photos it is used to having. I shall camwhore more over the next few days and post some photos.
Nowadays I start off with having a lot to type, and then as I type and type, I suddenly find myself with nothing left to say. It ends ever so abruptly. I become more conscious of what I am writing and I no longer write merely to express my feelings. I think I fear that people will judge me.

ANYWAY oh oh yesterday I ran four rounds around my estate, approx. 2.4 km or more? And uphill some more! :D Yay. Proud of myself. I was practically berating (is this correct usage of word?) myself for eating so much and thus having to run so much yesterday. Cuz believe me, running up the slope is seriously. tiring. You don't wanna try.

I'm taking forever to complete my assignment. It's been 10 minutes and I'm still on the first question. It's not because I'm slow, dummy, it's because I'm blogging/ chatting instead of concentrating.

EH. Oh yea last night I managed to almost complete the top of my Barbie doll. Which is totally a big accomplishment okay!
;D yay!
Happy. Spent forever taking measurements for Barbie and praying I was doing it the right way.
Now I've gotta do the skirt and buy rope and denim. =)

YAY YAY YAY I shall bathe after completing math, and dream about nice things.. hee =D

Hello all.

I ought to blog more often.

I feel so disconnected from my blog nowadays hahaha. Anyway yesterday was

FOUNDERS DAY :D

Haha now that I look back I guess it was okay, but

yesterday I had thought it was totally the most awesommest shizz eva! heh.

School was sian, went out with Edith and Jia yun and their friends after school. Haha so I made 2 new friends! Uhm we went to m. sq. (which I figured was totally awesome ytd after seeing all the new clothes the shops were stocked with :D :D) Haha walked a loong distance before we finally arrived at said intended destination. At first the whole atmosphere was rather sian, but things caught up after a while and it was not so bad after all.

We wanted to catch a movie at first, but the timings did not comply so that resulted in us abandoning that idea and we decided to go window shopping instead. OMG, I had not gone shopping for such a long time that I had become completely, wholly out-of-touch with what the shops had to offer. So when I saw all the truly wonderful clothes the shops boasted my heart exploded and immediately I had energy and saw one more reason life is good to live (I'm not saying that shopping is the one and only or most important reason to live it is not but it embellishes and enhances it). Uh but yesterday I wasn't really loaded nor did I feel in the mood to try on clothes or buy anything and I ususally tend to buy stuff only when shopping with parents or a few people I LOVE shopping with :)

Haha anyway I've made my mind to go back to marinasq and rafflescity (OMG THEY HAVE TH AWESOMEST SHOPS EVERRR) sometime soon and do some serious shopping. Tough to believe but I don't think I've purchased a single garment since the start of 2009. Shocking. Appalling; it is no wonder I've been feeling pretty bored lately.

We ate lunch at mosburger (I was very full) and I had a chicken teriyaki burger. Ee loon was not wrong about the huge amount of skin which was present in the burger, I had a case of unglam removal of skin and onions.. Maybe not that so unglam but well. Had an ichigo frozen strawberry thing also; thanks Edith and Jia yun (:

After shopping for a while, we proceeded to indulge in ice-cream; they bought from Azu..? something anyway it's this japanese ice-cream counter and Jia yun and I didn't buy; because I was very full and ice cream is fattening so I shouldn't eat if I don't have the craving but who knew Jia yun had something else in mind. Ahahaha. So we figured that out when we stopped by Andersons later. I had a junior cone cookies and cream.

Walked a damn long distance trying to search for the exit to how to get back to the mrt and all and bought BreadTalk for dinner. Then took the MRT/ bus back to school. The entire bus was crowded with rgs girls, as expected. Mhm then got to school, ate, rushed all the way back to class, got my torchlight and went to above the koi pond where I found some of the classmates seated.

Founders Day concert was totally dabomb! It was really well done and quite entertaining despite the fact that I get bored at concerts sometimes. Haha anw it was cool. Saw Aarthi and Charm Low and Clarisse and some other people performing. Was really proud of them :)

We also had fun spotting the guest-of-honours or whatever you call them important guest people. (HAHAH) And well, I guess Mag and I became quite excited talking about crap whilst ____ was speaking. And Mr Ang gave us mentos as well lol mint breath thingum (inside thing) and uhhhz, he gave us the cake as well after founders day had ended.

Mm well it was quite a fun night I must say. Walked home with my sister after the concert ended. And that's all I guess.

Today

watched the repeats of survivor's lawII today morning. Yay :) And now I don't have any nice show to follow anymore. Mm didn't do much, then went to Arab Street to get my materials. And that's it. Bb!

Words cannot contain my happiness. Exams are over! Haha everyone was jumping up and down after the History paper.. It was the first time I've ever felt this happy after an examination. Normally I'd think I'd be happy once the exam's over but when it is actually over, I don't feel anything. But this time my happiness actually lasted till now! Think it's because I put in a lot of effort mugging this time :)

So after the three papers we had th learning journey talk which really wasn't much anyway. Then I went with Mag to Subway for lunch. Tried the meatmall mariana (sp?) sandwich which was nice! Haha I may eat that again. And I never used to like subway very much because of their bread (the ones I had eaten last time were hard and chewy, and messy) but today I ordered Italian (wonder why I didn't order it before after having eaten Subway since quite a long time ago) and it was good. Haha and I ttly love white chip cookies :) Haha my fav. And the oatmeal and raisin is okay also.. I ordered them both and now I'm super full.

Watching my recorded eps of Survivor's Law II now yayyee happayyee hahah I wanted to watch it over the weekend but I was busy mugging from morning to night the whole of sat and sun so didn't get the chance to watch.. So happy.. Ok gna watch my show now cyaaa! :)
